Eminent domain is also used for private businesses all the time. I didn’t know that until recently.
The only authority the feds have is linted to what is delegated to the feds by the Constitution. The Constitution ONLY allows eminent domain for PUBLIC PURPOSE. The fact that the feds have been doing otherwise is consistent with most of what the feds do - unconstitutional activity, which by definition is tyranny.
So eminent domain used for something other than PUBLIC purpose is tyranny.
