CNN --Former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Friday endorsed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio for president.

"Marco can unify our party. His optimistic message is bringing voters from across the party lines, from across different demographic groups," Jindal told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren. "He can unify our party. He can win this election in November."

"I think he's a principled conservative. I think he is the right guy to lead us forward," he added.

Jindal, who also was a candidate for president until he dropped his campaign in November, also said he was impressed by Rubio's foreign policy.

"Marco's been consistent about strengthening America's foreign policy," Jindal said. "Marco's consistently stood up to the threat of ISIS, radical Islam."

I know Cruz’s plan. “If immigration is high” ???? Who is he trying to fool. Of course it is too high and he knows it, but he thinks we are too stupid to see through his lawyer weasle words. Many are not seieng it. Yet.

Those who support Trump instead of Cruz

... are going to get Rubio.

Count on it.

Reagan made some pretty stark observations comparing politics to the ‘worlds oldest profession’ and the ‘world with its pants down’.

Its at that level right now on all sides in a figurative and even literal sense. Glenn Beck and Dana Loesch were joking in sexual terms on air about the accusations thrown at them for supporting Cruz.

I support Ted Cruz fully with $$$$ and will sent him the most I can between now and March 15th (Florida Primary).

But I have to walk away from the dirt and smear going on all sides. Trump used the “F” word in a speech I heard.

God help us....

I prefer to follow things in Oregon to politics, I even sense those four folks on the lawn chairs besieged by the FBI are living life on a higher moral plane than the political bomb throwers here in the outside world.

Thanks for the list. Added footnote: the Des Moines Register endorsed Rubio for the GOP and Hillary for the Democrats:

Des Moines Register endorsement: Marco Rubio is GOP's best hope

Des Moines Register endorsement: Hillary Clinton has needed diplomatic skills

That’s right. We’re in complete agreement. It’s much better to whore one’s self out than use one’s influence to change business for the better and make business run properly. That’s why I’m voting for the Whore, I mean, the Donald.

(Cue the whining that there’s no difference, etc.)

Waiting for the "vote the lesser of two evils crowd to show up. Never mind that regardless of where on the evil scale the needle sets, it's still evil.

You think he needs a bunch of Washington establishment types like Rubio has been getting?

Let me clue you in. I don’t want Cruz to get endorsements from Washington. Not from current senators, not from retired senators. With the exception of Mike Lee, I could care less about the whole lot of them. I’m of the opinion that Washington is broken and the further you are separated from that disease, the better.

And we’ll be stuck with the Cuban Obama....so clean and articulate who has done NOTHING to support a run for the most powerful position on Earth.

And of course you know the game, you laid it out in one plain sentence. How I wish people would get a grasp on this simple reality.

Unreal .. did Inhofe endorse Rubio ? If so , that is very disappointing , as I thought Inhofe was one of the good guys ...

Yep it is a misstep by one of the better guys. He is strong on Military and Trump would better fit his past record. Strange.

Word has it that Stupifyin Jones has been seen wondering around the capital.

I don't know how you can include Cruz on that list.

First you type a Capital C then an r followed by a u and finish with a z and there you have it.

He can unify our party. He can win this election in November.

Both highly questionable claims.

One is NATURALLY a US citizen when one cannot possibly
be anything else. Born here of citizen parents.
Natural born citizen.

Once it takes a court decision to decide what "is" means, the Constitution is pretty much owned by the slickest talking lawyers.

Ted Cruz releases immigration plan: Suspend issuance of H-1B visas for six months, halt legal immigration if unemployment is high.

Pure weasel word cr@p. Six months suspension is supposed to cure forty years of corrupt immigration practice? Obama has reduced border protection activity and reinstated his catch and release policy. There has never been a more clear case for impeachment and our fearless GOPe does nothing except bend us over. BOHICA.

I will not watch a good man get slaughtered with the filth they throw every. Single. Day.

Which good man would that be? The career politician that has never held a serious civilian job, that some how as a poor immigrant managed to get in the best law schools in the country, that one?

So Jindal wants Hillary for president like the rest of the high up eGOP.

And some thought he would have made a good nominee.

Thanks for outing yourself eGOP Jindal.

Any establishment eGOP candidate, like The Rube or JEB will have their marching orders to give the election a la McCain/Romney Obama Obama (we helped make history by giving elections to him) to Hillary.

Obama Obama Clinton look we can make history again!

Hysterical History, Hystory, Herstory!

Go Hillary or we get Berned!

This election cycle is turning out to be a bonanza for determining who is part of the GOPe and who is not. You’re dead to me Bobby.

Marco can unify our party. His optimistic message is bringing voters from across the party lines, from across different demographic groups," Jindal told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren

Beat whitey. It's what the 21st Century is about.

So, I have a question. "Unify our party" and "bring voters from across different demographic groups" don't exactly mean the same thing.

What if, instead of "bringing voters from across groups", "our party" got whites to vote GOP at the mean percentage non-whites vote Democrat?

We would then never lose another national election, correct?

And Jindal is not critical of blacks voting Democrat at 92-95%, or Hispanics at 70-75%, or Asians at 65-70%, is he?

So, why not whites?

Or, to put it another way, would Jindal view a President elected with 75% of the white vote as legitimate?

If not, why not?
