Man, oh man, what an ordeal you’re going through with your mom these days. It’s rough seeing loved ones’ minds slowly fade away that way. Hubby’s aunt knows who we are but that’s about it.
At least you’re able to have her at home and not in a nursing home. But it doesn’t make things easy for you. You have your hands full.

Lots of Mom issues this evening. She’s a little under the weather...she thinks a kidney stone, but I don’t think so. And she’s not quite with it. I’m having some problems communicating. I’m hoping it’s just sleep depravation.

Thank you. I thought my Dad prepared me for some of this, but it’s all different. One day at a time.

I was still gone when it happened. I got a text from hubby telling me about it. I was worried, but knew that they had gotten help for her as quick as they could.I think she’ll be ok. She will do what they ask to get rid of the clots.

Bless her heart. She just wants to be better so she can get out and go places again. :)

It was different for me every time. I also thought that I had prepared myself but nature had other ideas.

Not yet...my sister calls her a couple times a day and will let me know if I need to come home. And I know she has a nap every day and her electric wheelchair. I’m watching closely for the time when I need someone here during the day.

So glad they found your MIL’s clots right away. They are not a good thing.

It’s been a busy week...she says the pain may be going away, and that will be good. Then I need to get a little food in her to counteract the dizziness when she gets up. But I have to fight for everything at the best of times.

And sleeping all night would really be nice!! At least I don’t have to get up with an alarm for the next 2 mornings. d:o)

I hope she’ll be ok. Scary stuff but the doctors seem to be on top of things. Glad they’re keeping a close eye on her.

Maybe once they get this straightened out she can get on with doing some of the things she wants to do. It stinks when life throws monkey wrenches into the works!
