The true figure is closer to 30%. No body counts the college grads and high school grads who never were able to enter the job force. They do not count the people who gave up looking for a job, nor those the government put on disability because they ran out of UC. If the method used incorporated all of the above, the Great Depression would pale in comparison. All according to plan.
Well, the U-6 does take the people who have given up looking in their count. Also, the people who have expired their UC...
But, you are right...It IS much higher than what the government administration tells us.....
