Philadelphia (CBS) – Chris Stigall criticized presidential candidates Ben Carson and Donald Trump for blaming Ted Cruz after rumors were spread by his supporters in the moments before the Iowa Caucus that Carson was dropping out and returning home to Florida.
Stigall, on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, said this entire controversy is Carson’s fault for running such a poor campaign and making mistakes that can be exploited by his opponents.
“These people are in perpetual, constant dog fights. On the mic, off the mic, on the camera, off the camera, on Twitter, they’re never off, they’re never off, they never go away. You certainly do not go away before votes have been cast in the first state in the union to vote. You don’t get on a plane and say, I’m going home for some R and R, I’ll catch you Thursday at the prayer breakfast. You are a political neophyte if you’re out there crying in your beer for Ben Carson. I’m more irritated at Carson than I am Trump, actually. Carson out there [saying] that’s a dirty trick. No, you’re a bad, bad candidate Doctor, and I respect you a lot sir. I think you’re brilliant man, a man of God. But that is a stupid, stupid campaign move at this level. And to blame it on Cruz? Please.”
Cruz isn’t off message at all. He has long since moved on. I’m making it MY MISSION to expose the liberal/GOPe/Trumpertantrum fraud behind these faux outrage attacks.
And I’m loving every minute of it.

You are correct it could have been. So why didn’t CNN do that before running with it?
You can say the exact same thing about Cruz and Rubio.
If Cruz and Rubio want to run for president, they are responsible to run a strong campaign and not stumble into situations like this.
This exists, because they made it exist. They did it.
Whatever happens or does not happen as a result of their choice of action is on them.
Chris is Megyn’s go-to stooge. Surprised he doesn’t wear a rhinestone collar.
The intention is to keep Cruz alive as a useful idiot to try and take out TRUMP. Until they can advance Rubio for the Establishment.
Brace yourself, Cruz won’t succeed, but the FOX team will eviscerate him too. The FOX disruption team is owned by the Establishment, who reportedly prefer Rubio.

Large flat screen TVs, reporters and smart phone EVERYWHERE! If that was my candidate i would have checked it out. No one was duped.

I know. I have thought the VERY same, that the Cruz tactics are positively Hillary-esque.
Always obvious, clumsy, and destructive. The shame was that so many rubes used to fall for the denials, excuses and the re-direction.
I’m not so sure it can work any more. In a time-stamped world the trail of evidence is crystal clear.
Carson was wounded already and not staffed up with a muscular team, like Cruz.
Cruz’ team took advantage of the wound, plain and simple, and ran off with a message to CNN. CNN was stupid to report it based on a damn tweet from some Cruzer with a phone!
The report should have never made the cut for CNN without first getting confirmation from Carson himself, on a story of that magnitude.
