Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is showing no signs of slowing his criticism of Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) over hard-edged tactics employed during the recent Iowa Caucuses. Carson confidant Armstrong Williams is leading some of the attacks, while suggesting Carson will raise the issue at the upcoming Feb. 6 New Hampshire GOP debate.

They certainly do. At some point there really such a thing as bad publicity.
You do the math. 4 votes per 1500 precincts would equal 26% of Carson’s total votes. If they were able to get 26% of Carson’s voters within a few minutes, they should be given an award for being political geniuses. If Karl Rove knew how to do that, he’d be charging candidates $10 million to make it happen for them.
Carson only would have about 16 votes per precinct based on his vote total. So if that many people switched, why has it proven impossible for Carson (or Trump) to find ONE person who claims they made the switch?
>>> Violate = butthurt. Good thing heâs a doctor. <<<
I’ll prescribe two chapsticks. Use one if your lips get dry and don’t confuse it with the other.
And the clothes! The dirty clothes!
I can’t post pics where I’m at, but if I could I’d post the one with the folks at the meeting: I’m not convinced we’ve wasted enough time on this.
“Ok, whatâs your opinion on Rubio? Because his people were doing this 30 minutes before Cruzâz people said anything.”
Yep, but Cruz is the candidate most likely to upset the uniparty agenda so he’s the one that will be attacked. Rubio can be dealt with later if necessary.
Armstrong is the guy who caused Carson’s other principal advisors to quit, because he drove Carson’s numbers from around 25 to around 10, BTW. And the fact that Carson let this happen tells us something about his capability as a manager.
Yeah, I said on another thread that if Sarah Palin was going to go after Cruz on this she needed to go after Rubio s well, and I got told that I was being sleazy, and getting into the gutter.
Sending doesnt mean receiving. Nor does it mean actually reading.
Especially in the chaos of the election night.
Seriously, anyone with half a brain could have verified ANYTHING instantly what was being implied. Large flat screen TVs and smart phone EVERYWHERE! If that was my candidate i would have checked it out. No one was duped.
Are we supposed to believe that all of the Cruz people were able to get the information from their HQ about Carson possibly dropping out, but the Carson people at the same locations were NOT able to get information from the Carson HQ to correct the story? Were these magical caucus locations where the WiFi and cellular service only worked for on campaign?
Quick somebody call the Whahmbulance
“Because his people were doing this 30 minutes before Cruzâz people said anything”
You are correct! Too bad it’s not being reported by the Trumedia or Fox “Fairubio and Balanced!)
Politics ain’t beanbag
In every election the hyperbole and emo behavior is on full display. This situation is no different - really a non-issue and frankly many people who heard “Dr. Carson is going to go to Florida for a breather” logically thought he would be dropping out of the race. It was the only conclusion and why would a candidate announce they are taking themselves off the trail right before the votes are cast? I am sure some Cruz ground troops used it, but how stupid of Carson’s campaign to say that!
I am becoming apathetic about the primaries now. I started with Cruz, but he has done some weird stuff recently (this is not one of those). Trump is acting like a big baby - that is not fighting, it’s whining. I don’t trust Rubio on immigration. The media (and FR) has turned this into another soap opera.
May the best man win or the last man standing I suppose. In the end, I am ABH or ABB - anybody but Hillary or Bernie.
(Trump compared Carson's pathology to that of a child molester now defends him)
Must be some of those Inside The Beltway values Ted has learned.
This whole mess is a black mark on Cruz... Cruz needs to fire the people at fault and issue a real apology to Carson.

Our people should NEVER act like democrat filth.
No more than Rush Limbaugh do I see any reason to fault Cruz. CNN first tweeted the story, then tweeted a retraction of the implication of the story - but on TV CNN went full bore on the fact that it was really, really strange for a candidate to spend time - days - at home in the week before the NH primary. I still think that was wacky, myself. Who actually plans to win the nomination, and does that???You want Cruz to throw someone - anyone - under the bus, rather than personally taking (whatever is deserved by the campaign) responsibility by apologizing to Carson.
Your way would mirror the Obama approach, Cruz was being a stand up guy. When a suicide bomber drove a truck into the Marine barracks in Beruit, Ronald Reagan refused to scapegoat the military, and took responsibility for the result himself. A reporter asked him if, in that case, he would resign. Reagan of course demurred - but he did not throw anyone under the bus the way Obama would do.
How did CNN get the story that Carson was headed to Florida? Nobody has claimed that Cruz operatives gave CNN the story - and Carson did in fact go to Florida.
Trump found it a convenient way to undercut the fact that Cruz won Iowa. He did not care if Rubio did the same thing - but forgive me if I think Trump would be just as mad at Rubio if he had also beaten Trump.
