EXCLUSIVE: Who said there is no upside being on the wrong side of Donald Trump? Fox News Channel star Megyn Kelly is closing on a deal with HarperCollins to write a book at what sources said is in the range of a whopping $10 million for world rights. Her reps are denying that number â I heard itâs closer to $11 million â but they confirm she has made the deal for a book to be published in the fall. Theyâre not calling it a memoir, but thatâs what I heard on the book circuit all day.

Perfect summation.
- With the Clintons, we first heard the words "scorched earth", meaning they and their mind-numbed minions did (and continue to do) anything in their power to attack their detractors - mostly on a personal level. For instance, all of Bill's victims suddenly became trailer-trash, with no facts to support the claims.
- With 0bama, everyone who disagrees with him is the enemy and either "cling to their guns and Bible", or are "unpatriotic", or worse.
- Now, Donald Trump carries on his own version, but basically the same theme - attack the individual, not their ideas or record. For instance, according to The Donald, how many of the other Presidential candidates are stupid, ugly, and/or lazy?
And it seems to me that we have all allowed that type of rhetoric to invade even our conservative our culture. For all too many of us, the first impulse is to attack others personally when they disagree with us, rather than address their actions or words.
Case-in-point: a lot of this discussion about Megyn Kelly - how she's a bimbo, prostitute, airhead.
We conservatives and Christians should be above that, and not stoop to the level of the liberals. Even if I don't like Megyn, or don't like something (or anything) she says, I have to admit she is successful in a quite competitive industry, and I don't have to resort to liberal name-calling. If I don't like her approach, I don't have to watch. If I don't like something she says, I should be able to say why in an intelligent, honorable way.
Someone once said, "There are two ways to make yourself look good - bring others down to your level or excel." I choose the latter and I believe if more conservatives / Christians did that, we would stand out even more and be sought out by those seeking a different tone.
A well paid presstitute..

Well, almost every memoir that comes out today includes a large section of who the person slept with.
Here! Here! Well said.
Obviously, some of us are just more heterosexual than you.
I disliked Megyn Kelly well before her little feud with Trump. In fact, I’ve disliked most of the talking heads on Fox News because they pretend to represent some kind of “opposition” to the establishment when in reality they’re just hired mouthpieces for the Republican National Committee and for candidates like Jeb and Rubio. Megyn Kelly may as well be Karl Rove in an dress.
$10 Million +?
Bloody 'L, you say...
Any factual evidence? Any kind of evidence at all?
How long have you been picturing Rove in a dress?
There are several threads about Megyn gushing over Marco Rubio recently. Feel free to look them up, I’m not going to do your homework for you.
Financing under the table, or "talking" under the table?
“It will surprise me if she sells more than 5,000 copies.”
If the book contains revelations and details that she did indeed sleep her way to the top it will be a best seller.
Your full-throated defense of the media’s control on elections is noted.
Will she be dressed for this occasion, this time, in the pages of her âbookâ?
It’s all about the money. Playboy was outbid..
Megyn Kelly climbed to the top just like Barbara Walters did it?
O.K. I will take your word for it. Anyway..back to the your allegation.
Is there any evidence that Megyn is a hired mouthpiece? Hired by who?
The publishers must believe that she could sell enough books to make them a nice profit, or they wouldn’t bother.
If her “style” keeps going in the current direction, the role might go to Rosie herself.
Hired by Fox News, which serves as a mouthpiece for the Republican National Committee. Denying that Fox serves as the media propaganda arm of the RNC would be like denying that MSNBC is a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party.
Are they paid by the respective parties? No, they're not. That doesn't stop them from being mouthpieces for those parties. Is it just a coincidence that the talking points of Fox News "analysts" are basically GOP establishment boilerplate?
Oh. Has Megyn’s ‘coverage’ of events been steadily expanding with her fame? That often happens once you hit it big.
That she disagrees with you, and me, does not make her a prostitute. Such ridiculous ad hominems are childish...nay, liberal.
Megyn is very smart, thoughtful and sober. She is simply wrong.
