It wasn’t that Carson decided to go home for a few days. It was that his staffer told the press about it WHILE THE CAUCUSES WERE STILL UNDERWAY.

OK, it was an amateur move, and OK, we can cut him some slack, but this isn’t Pop Warner football. This is the professional leagues. Carson has absolutely no cause to complain about the entirely natural and utterly foreseeable consequences of the actions of his own staffer.

The fact that a Carson staffer leaked something has little to do with his ability to run the country.

Cruz and his campaign took advantage of situation and played fast and loose with the facts...They could have and should have confirmed. They chose not to and led caucusers to mistaken believe that Cruz was out. I think it was really bad form, and the more that comes out, the less I trust TRUSTED. Not showing much integrity.

Frankly. I don’t want a traditional polished slick politician campaigner who has done nothing but work in the public sector for their whole life—I want an outsider to turn Washington upside down and inside out. If they make an amateur move or put foot in mouth because they are on a learning curve, so be it.
