The day after accusing Ted Cruz of winning the Iowa caucuses unfairly and asking for a rematch in the state, Donald Trump says he's now over it.
"I'm so much into this, into New Hampshire, that I just â I don't care about that anymore," Trump said in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper in Manchester, just five days out from next Tuesday's primary contest here. "This is the place I'm focused on now."
These comments, made at Theo's, a popular local pizza joint that serves up specialty Italian and Greek dishes, were in stark contrast to a tirade of angry tweets Trump sent out the day before, where he charged that the Texas senator had committed "fraud" in Iowa and called for a "new election."
The controversy started when CNN reported Monday night that Carson would go home to Florida following the Iowa caucuses instead of flying directly to the early voting states New Hampshire and South Carolina. The network added that he planned to stay in the race.
Some Cruz allies shared that news widely on the night of the caucuses, including to Carson supporters, but did not include the part about Carson remaining in the race.

And he can do a helluva mean petulant Stompyfoot imitation, too!
coz weer al stoop-ed. Did I mention stoop-ed? i fergot.
You are so confused altura....
Howard Dean quit the campaign after his outburst.
Trump is as strong as ever in NH, SC & NV.
You must try to think on a deeper level. Do not get easily confused and equate two different outcomes as the same.
Trump is unstable...at best.
This is a major risk we are taking with Trump.
Look at the track record for the border wall. All that talk, time and money, and only small portions of it have been built.
Trump’s normal default position is the liberal one.
He’s anxious to make deals with dems and RINOs.
Is this what we want?
Nah... I leave the ALL CAPS posts for Ducking Donald’s drones to publish more of their TRUMPERY. Makes the idiots easier to spot.
He’s a mercurial, feckless dilettante dabbling in politics without any real focus or guiding principles.

You gotta admit Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, Bush would kill to have Trump's numbers in NH.
There. Fixed it. See how that works?
Trump isn't the one spreading false information to voters.
Reputation is like virginity. Once lost, it can not be patched up.
” and say outrageous things about Cruz..... “
It is shameful that those outrageous things about Creepy Teddy Cruznadian — happen to actually be TRUE.
Cruz scumbag — and now all the world knows.
Come on, altura - you were here in 97. You know about Spikey Isikoff, Drudge, and Clinton's Media spearcatchers, and how they tried to work Matt's midnight news dump on Lewinsky.
Trump is the ONLY one who can beat the Media at their own game.
I like Cruz, but he'd be a burnt grease-stain right now if it weren't for Trump taking the Media heat and turning it to ratings.
One question for those who say “build a wall”...where in the hell were you in 2008 when the ONLY candidate who had legislation in place to build the entire wall on the southern border was running for President? Oh yea, you were tearing him down to prop up your establishment candidate. Where was Trump? Funding the clowns who later killed the law or refused funding to complete your it.
It’s not that he’s pivoting. He has a serious advantage. He’s fundamentally unserious and a fraud. What would be inane or reckless to a normal candidate is just Trump being arrogant.
Donald Trump persuaded by Laredo mayor to temper border wall plan - October 17, 2015
From the article:
In the middle of Saturday’s Texas Tribune Festival panel on the border and the Legislature, state Rep. César Blanco, an El Paso Democrat, asked two of his Republicans colleagues if there was something they could do to keep Donald Trump from exploiting the border for his own political benefit.
“Do you think any of us can control Donald Trump?” replied state Rep. Larry Phillips, the Sherman Republican who chairs the House Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee. Perhaps not.
But the panel of border mayors that followed included Pete Saenz of Laredo, who hosted Trump on his whirlwind border inspection tour in July, and may have actually persuaded Trump to slightly moderate his plans for a great wall between Mexico and the United States.
As Saenz told the American-Statesman after the panel discussion, he was obligated to be a “gracious” host to Trump but also obliged during his border briefing for Trump to explain why the Republican presidential front-runner’s plans for a wall and mass deportations were ill-advised.
“I told him it was not practical,” Saenz said of the wall. “I told him aside from it being offensive to Mexico, which is our second- or third-largest trading partner, the cost is impractical, and it’s not practical inside Texas, where the Rio Grande sometimes throughout the year is a source of drinking water for livestock.”
“We’re a ranching community,” Saenz said. “What are you going to do — dam the tributaries?
“He did change his tone a little bit,” Saenz said. “He did say maybe the wall is not appropriate for the entire border and certain sections are not conducive for that.”

Rep. Poncho Nevarez, D-Eagle Pass, who represents the largest border district, said: “Borders are always going to be porous — that’s what borders are. The idea of sealing the border, it’s not going to happen.
“What I object to is being a political piñata,” he said.

QUESTION: Are you still in favor of a wall?
Donald J. Trump: Yes, in certain sections, you have to have a wall, absolutely.

Trump denies being against H-1B US visas October 30, 2015
Republican presidential candidate nominee Donald Trump says he supports the idea of talented overseas students remaining in the United States after they have finished studying and gaining employment in places such as Silicon Valley. Trump made the perhaps unexpected comment during the third televised presidential debate of the Republican Party.
“I’m in favor of people coming into this country legally,” the controversial real estate billionaire claimed. “And you know what? They can have it any way they want. You can call it visas, you can call it work permits, you can call it anything you want.” Florida senator Marco Rubio, despite his previous differences with Trump on the issue and particularly with regard to H-1B US visas, supported Trump’s desire for an immigration system that can attract the world’s best talent.
Trump said he wants talented people to stay in the United States and work in areas such as Silicon Valley. He denied ever having criticized Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, claiming that he agrees with him about the ridiculousness of having foreign students graduate from American universities such as Harvard, Yale and Princeton only to be immediately forced to leave the United States.
“As far as the visas are concerned, if we need people, it’s fine,” Trump insists. “They have to come into this country legally. We have a country of borders. We have a country of laws. We have to obey the laws. It’s fine if they come in, but they have to come in legally.”
you lie, little weasel TROLL
Trump specifically Twittered that he wanted freeper "elhombrelibre" to exercise his considerable vocabulary on Thursday night this week.
You fool! You've fallen into his trap!
One day later..
I don't care about that anymore....
It's about the news cycle. He understands it, you don't.
