Trump was 11 points ahead in the CNN and Fox polls with only a few days to go and still managed to lose. That’s bad no matter how you spin it.

Ok.. if what you say is true-— Cruz will be coming in first in the next bunch of elections....I guess we will see if you are right soon....

That’s funny because you folks were pointing out that it was all about ground game and not the polls.

Now you’re attempting to flip that premise in favor of the polls being the key factor, so you can ding Trump.

As I said, it’s very hard to gauge what a caucus result will be ahead of time. It’s fluid right up until the ballots are cast.

Was it reasoned to think Trump might better than we had thought? Sure. I had pretty much conceded that Iowa was out of reach based on his comments.

Then the polls seemed to swing, so sure I thought he might have more of a chance. Wouldn’t anyone’s supporter feel that way.
