FOX NEWS OPTIONS MEGYN KELLY TO MODERATE NEXT GOP DEBATE, DONALD TRUMP MAY ATTEND

Fox News has made another calculated decision to have one of their top anchors, Megyn Kelly, come back as a moderator in the next Republican Presidential Debate. Despite the national headlining feud between Kelly (as well as Fox News) and former GOP Presidential candidate frontrunner Donald Trump, Kelly will also be heavily involved in the debate’s moderation and there is a good chance that Trump will suck up his pride and participate following his humiliating defeat to Senator Ted Cruz in the Iowa primary earlier this week.

Although Trump has been in recent month hailed as a ratings magnet for GOP debates as well late night talk shows and other media interviews, the ratings could go through the roof if he decides to participate in this debate on Fox News.

Trump optioned to sit out the last GOP debate on Fox News, citing that Kelly unfairly targeted him in her questions about potentially misogynistic statements that he had made via social media. He also went after her following the debate, making personal attacks and insinuating that she had been menstruating during the debate.

He also famously had a feud with Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch, which played out through a serious of private and social communications.

Trump seemed to graciously accept defeat on Monday's Iowa primaries when he said that he "was honored" to be in second place, although he did not even come close to Cruz in the election. As a matter of fact, he was nearly tied with third place winner, Senator Marco Rubio.

As reported by The Hill, the details of the third Fox News debate have only recently been released and it will take place on March 3 in Detroit, Michigan.

Megyn Kelly will join the returning triumvirate team of moderators alongside Brett Baier and Chris Wallace. All three have hosted the previous two debates on Fox News, the last of which did not feature Trump.

The previous Fox News debate was not the first time Trump had made demands of the hosting network in order for him to appear. He had previously demanded a payment of $5 million from CNN. But when CNN did not cave to his demand, he still participated in the debate.

Last month, Trump demanded that Fox News bar Kelly from any future debates or else he would not participate. The decision to follow through with his threat came down to the 11th hour, but he made good on it and stayed off the platform.

Skipping the Fox News debate is one of the reasons that he cited as what hurt him in the Iowa primary race, although he has seemed to flip-flopped on that excuse, now saying that Cruz won the race through nefarious means and fraudulent tactics.

But it would be reasonable to assume that skipping the Fox News debate ultimately cost him a win in Iowa, which he had long been the frontrunner to win based on early polling numbers from various independent and media sources.

When the debate airs live on Fox News on March 3, the primary season will already have a whole host of winners and losers on the board. Before that Fox News event takes place, voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and Wyoming will all have already weighed in on their pick for the GOP Presidential candidate.

There is a good chance that Trump will not be skipping this next Fox News debate, especially if it is a close race at the time it occurs.

The GOP candidate field will also be a narrower race at that time as well. Fox News is reporting that Rick Santorum has suspended his campaign and went on to endorse Marco Rubio.

FOX News is RINO Central - they are all acting.

It's an Act.

It's about writing the next book and keeping the scam going. Not a dimes bit of difference from CNN.

They market to the Right, but actually loathe them.

Shepherd Smith is in charge of News, for God's sake. BOR said Obama would govern from the Center for 4 years, until Obama was safely re-elected.

>>And for gods sake a face mask.<<

Why are all the Trump supporters so insistent on acting just as boorish as Trump?

As for putting a face mask on Megyn, you really should get your eyesight checked.

FOX is getting annoying now, inserting themselves into the story line. Let it be about the candidates and the issues, please!

I simply do not see a humiliating defeat of Trump. Trump walked away with 7 delegates and Cruz 8. That is hardly humiliating.

Humiliating is what Bush is going through. This was not in any way a humiliating defeat.

My opinion on Megyn Kelly has nothing to do with Trump. Our debates are very important. I am not looking to be entertained while watching the debates, I am looking for the best person to get our country back on track. With knowledge of this we expect Fox to give the best they have for the debate. Knowing the importance of the debate, Kelly made the debate about her, the first question she ask has nothing to do with security, jobs or terrorist. She had her own agenda. She continued for days to be obsessed with Trump. Martha MaCallum is sincere and the best Fox has. And she has debate experience???

That menstruating allusion was debunked thoroughly. Haters gotta hate.

"...FOX is getting annoying now, inserting themselves into the story line. Let it be about the candidates and the issues, please!..."

Concur 100% with this sentiment.
Why won't they ask Greta Van Susteren or Laura Ingraham to moderate if they wish another female journalist?

FOX is run by a bunch of men with their tongues hanging out running after Megan. That’s the main problem.

Martha McCallum is the only one that doesn’t dress like a tart. I like her the best. Why can’t she moderate?

Totally agree. Women on FOX look like they are going out on the town for the night. On One America they are professional.

So pleased you agree with me. Megyn Kelly can’t hold a light to Martha McCallum, she has class and is the same everyday. I believe Ailes is responsible for the Kelly eruption. His eyes will open when her ratings take a dip.

If he attends the debate, he should demand that all participants, including moderators abide by the rules. And yes, Megyn was a participant in the last debate, arguing and rebutting Cruz and Rubio. Fine, she at least needs to be held to the same rules as others.

Republican Presidential Debate 2015 Rules

Supplies: The 12 participating candidates can't bring much of anything with them into the debate. That means no cell phones, tablets, notes or props to help illustrate points. But each presidential hopeful will be given a notepad, pen and glass of water.

I assume it's same rules for 2016. Why should Megyn be allowed to bring props like videos to make a point against the candidate she's trying to nail?

Mgyn is not capable of being fair and balanced when it comes to Trump and possibly Cruz.

Megyn will do what she has to do to make the show about Megan. She has an air of importance, after that comes the decline.
You can see it already happening, just read the comments on the forums.

Video at link (need listen through to 5:25 to hear Chris Wallace eye’s comment)
Trump: Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace Had “Blood Coming Out of Their Eyes”

Despite the twitter outrage the full context of Trumps remarks were in reference to Megyn Kelly and Mike Wallace’s questions and presentation. Trump said both Kelly and Wallace appeared to have blood coming out of their eyes.

I think you have to be a deviant to jump to menstruation, or more likely with a desire to damage Trump and a fertile imagination.
