In a striking reversal of rhetoric, Donald Trump would not rule out Ted Cruz as his hypothetical vice-presidential pick.
"Well, I don"t know. Look, I have nothing against him. It was sort of a sad thing that happened, but I'"ve always liked him," Trump told Hugh Hewitt on his radio show Thursday, after weeks of trashing his primary rival as nasty, hypocritical and disliked.
Trump added that he has "always gotten along well" with Cruz, but that "I'm so much now focused on New Hampshire."

I’m Irish too.
I don’t like bickering, but sometimes there’s no way to avoid it. You don’t stand up for your beliefs, and your beliefs get trampled. No thanks.

Thanks for the nice response.
>> You donât stand up for your beliefs, and your beliefs get trampled.
Aye!
It doesn’t matter who wins on the republican side, the old RAT media and their RAT party will have republicans at each other’s throats, they will divide the voters and the RATS will put another Marxist in power. Phase two of the RAT strategy will then be to have republicans attack all republican candidates as unqualified candidates.
Where do we send our support money?
Listening would be fresh air compared to listening to the Marxist faggot spewing his fetid filth on hate and change for US patriots.
I lieu of donating to my campaign, please feel free to send all donations to Free Republic’s FReep-a-thon.
Ducking Donald is only interested if it can distract from his LIEberalism.
‘He won’t pick Cruz. He said he won’t rule him out.’
Correct.
‘Besides, none of them will have standing.’
Think.
The instant Cruz wins the nom or is named the veep pick, Alan Grayson will approach the Dem nom and offer to represent them in the suit [which he will have tweaked, polished and ready to go]. The Dem nom will accept; they don’t play softball.
This isn’t Hard.
And what standing does Grayson have to sue?
I read it. You are trying to suggest that Trump personally hired these people and personally overworked them. Did you actually read the article?
... a former union leader... (and) Equitable Life Assurance Society... (and that) violations were the fault of an inept demolition contractor whom he later fired
If you have deep pockets you get sued. This stuff happens all the time and you know it. A billionaire developer cannot babysit all of his subcontractors, or the crooked unions that are employed. Somebody has to pay, and with weaselly lawyers (can we say Cruz) the business guy pays.
Every sleazy net scrounger is going to find something on a 9 billion dollar empire builder and blame him personally for everything done on the street - BS says I.
And, you didn't read the other article either I take it. More broad brush, constantly reposted overstatements, lies and sleaze - gonna bring 'em all back quick is crap (unlike Cruz who will deport nobody but increas H-1B visas by 500%):
not all at the low end. We have to bring people that â and Iâve been hearing more and more of this. We have to bring people that are university â you know, go to universities, that are doctors.
Try just supporting your guy, cease with the same post and post again stuff, and get a grip. Ole Ted has enough to defend about himself right now.
Please read my post again. Grayson would be the atty, not the plaintiff.
No, he set up a shell company to do it. Nice try. It's BS.

Trump's net worth is nowhere near 9 billion. He's inflating the value of "goodwill" to get there beyond belief. It's closer to $3 billion.
(unlike Cruz who will deport nobody but increas H-1B visas by 500%):
Actually, that is false. His written immigration plan posits that there will be NO increase in H-1B visas unless sector unemployment drops. He has also written that he will go after abusers of the program.
Try just supporting your guy,
Cruz is not "my guy."
Who is the plaintiff?
Is Ted? No.
BINGO!
Thanks. “:^)
Cruz is his best choice and the his best hope to unify the major constituencies.
The plaintiff is identified not once but twice in my post. IF Cruz either wins the nom or is named veep, Alan Grayson will make a beeline for Sanders, Clinton, or whoever wins the Dem nom (identified in my prior post as “Dem nom”). Grayson will pitch himself as the perfect atty to challenge Cruz and win, since he’s already, as we speak, putting his case together.
Whichever Dem candidate has won the nomination will gladly jump aboard Grayson’s case as plaintiff. Believe it or not, for all his bile and craziness, he’s known as a very formidable lawyer.
They don't have standing to sue. Not unless and until the election is over and Cruz is President,
There’s not much chance of finding out. Cruz is unlikely to be the nom, and far less likely to be the veep pick. If by a miracle he became the nom, the Dem would win in a landslide.
Otoh, whether a plaintiff has standing is largely a function of the individual judge. After Grayson has shopped for the most favorable venue, don’t be shocked at the outcome. It’s a different world for liberals and conservatives.
