Well, I do. I am 72 and never, ever used any word like that. I will never forget my high school senior English teacher telling us if we could not think of another word, it showed our low iq. My parents, grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins never used them either. The people my age never used them. Oh, I know I grew up in a different era. I have seen small kids “cuss” like a sailor. I take that back. When I was just a toddler, we had chickens. Every once and a while, one would escape their yard and chicken house. I remember one day, one got out and pooped on the front porch. I was the cleaner upper. A minister was there when I had that duty. I told my mom. “Why do I have to clean up this mess. That chicken just “sh.....” all over this porch.” My parents never figured out where I learned that and I had no clue. That was the only time! : ). I still have to laugh about my saying that as a toddler and in front of a minister.

Gee my high school Latin/ Engkish teacher assigned us all to find the hidden meeting and derivative of all the “bad” words we knew. If we couldn’t find the actual answers we got extra credit for creating answers It took the “ hey look at me I can use swear words smart guy” attitude out of us We assigned each word a number and simply used the number instead of the word
We also decided to create our own language. It went over REALLY well with the other teachers We could communicate with each other and they were at lost what we were up to. After a few pranks too many it came to a a sckeeeeeeeetching hault!

I’m only 30, but my parents are the same. My mom doesn’t curse, at least I’ve never heard her say it. I don’t remember my dad ever doing so when I was still a child, but he has said s*** and a** after me and my siblings were all adults, but he doesn’t like constant profanity or the use of f*** in conversation. Now I refrain from using profanity near my or anyone else’s children, people I don’t know, or in professional situations; however, I don’t get upset when it is used (unless by a child). I guess my youth and my time in the Marine Corps are reasons why I’m not inclined to care as much about the use of profanity.
