MARCO RUBIO: Legalization of Illegal Immigrants Comes First – Then Border Security
thegatewaypundit.com ^ | February 3 | Jim Hoft

The interview with Univision was in Spanish- Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) told Univision yesterday that legalization of illegal immigrants will come first and then new border security measures. The Examiner reported:

In a Spanish-language interview Sunday with the network Univision, Sen. Marco Rubio, the leading Republican on the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform group, made his strongest statement yet that legalization of the nation's estimated 11 million illegal immigrants must happen before any new border security or internal enforcement measures are in place, and will in no way be conditional on any security requirements.

"Let's be clear," Rubio said. "Nobody is talking about preventing the legalization. The legalization is going to happen. That means the following will happen: First comes the legalization. Then come the measures to secure the border. And then comes the process of permanent residence."

And if the GOP had a real party leader, instead of Priebus who sits in his office whacking off all day, then these feuds would get nipped in the bud before they take the entire party down with them.

Rubio got seduced by the GOPe and their dream of endless Hispanic voters.

Rubio turned on his mentor too... Rubio acts like a Democrat...

He promised if we voted for him in Florida, no way there’d be any kind of amnesty from him. Did a real good job holding his feet to the fire. First act as senator — gang of 8, amnesty for all.

WTF has Rubio EVER done to deserve being considered for POTUS?

Geez, even Jeb was a two-term governor.

Rubio will be easy for Dems to defeat. He has nothing to offer. He lacks experience and lacks skills that are needed for POTUS. He has too many negatives that can be used against him. His donors and their influence on him should be of major concern.

Not me; no way; never; no matter who he is running against. We have already suffered through one not-eligible, foreign citizen, homo prostitute, anti-American, racist, usurper president. NEVER AGAIN. All that is the same with Marco Rubio. All that.

Your article is from 2013.

Oddly, in 2013 both Cruz and Rubio were for legalization.

In 2016 both claim to be for a border security trigger prior to immigration reform.

“I don’t believe Rush Limbaugh is an idiot.”

He isn’t. Someone is controlling him. Remember not too long ago when Rush was saying that what was happening in Congress was incomprehensible. It is incomprehensible only until you throw in the correct factors, and then it becomes comprehensible. Well, Rush shilling for the amnesty-pimp Rubio is incomprehensible until you throw in some unsavory factors.

Notice you can’t call them aliens either. You have to call them immigrants. First Amendment Ignored!

I agree with you. I wondered if the GOPe got Marco a good showing in Iowa, who would be coming out of the woodwork to support him. I knew that whoever tried to fuel the push to support Marco would be owned and controlled by the GOPe and their puppet masters. Now it is absolutely clear why the “conservative” media behaves the way it does every election cycle. They are controlled. The “conservative” media can’t feign independence with me anymore.

Like I said you have no idea who I am or even where I am from unlike so many on here.
I suggest if it is possible that you get to know some people before you judge them and attack them.

That is how it used to be on here.

Rubio would be 4th on my list of supporting, but this post is really misleading. Makes it seem like this interview was just yesterday. I know. It still shows his intentions but the date of the article should have been posted.

I’d like to know how and why you consider my post to you an “attack.” I was extending your statement. If, however, I am to be free to respond with my thoughts openly, I do not consider “getting to know someone” of such a great importance as to my opinion of what they said. The First Amendment, though brutalized, still exists.
