NEDERLAND The City of Nederland is responding to reports that a group supporting the legalization of rape may meet Saturday night at a park as part of what the group calls meet-up events across the nation and in 43 countries.
On a website advertising the "Return of the Kings" event, self-styled "pick up artist" Daryush "Roosh V" Valizadeh has encouraged his misogynist supporters to "come out of the shadows and not have to hide behind a computer screen for fear of retaliation."
The City of Nederland released this statement about the possible meeting, set for 8pm local time Saturday in each location.
"Today, the Nederland Police Department was notified of a possible "meeting" to be held at Doornbos Park this weekend. The organizers of this meeting advocate the legalization of rape. Rape is a despicable act of violence against women, men, and children, and the suggestion that this act should be legalized is morally reprehensible and sickening. The City will continue to monitor plans for this possible meeting and asks the public to refrain from confronting any individual who attends the meeting. The City believes this organization is seeking notoriety so the lack of public attendance would serve to diminish their publicity. Finally, we ask the public to remember that Doornbos Park is and will remain a safe location for families and children to enjoy. "

Hillary attended a “muslims only” fundraiser event in Beaumont this year.
I am sorry we can’t let you do that..
Smith Wesson and me.
it works for so many things.
I understand they may not be from ‘round those parts but do they not realize they live in Texas?
They aren’t Muslim. They don’t want to legalize rape. If the TV station did even the most basic reporting they’d know that. But then they wouldn’t get to run a sensationalist story and care everyone.
That was going to be my question. The city and the local cops had better watch out. They’ll be sued for way more than they got for discrimination.
Well you don't have to confront these Rapist enablers up close...
"I like rape."
Make rape legal. Just only for the case that it is OK for muslim men to be raped by very very large black homosexuals.
They’re not Muslims. They’re politically incorrect guys who enjoy driving feminists and leftists into hysterics, and so you have activists lying about them to try to disrupt.
I’m speaking as somebody who actually visits “Return of Kings” website from time to time.
Will Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby be their main speakers? Surprise guest speaker - Anthony’s Weiner? Eliott’s Spitzer? (This time we can leave out Barney’s Frank).
English is such a great language to play with. Frankie Shakespeare.
Shoot everyone who participates. Many will be glad.
They're fixin' to find out real quick.
I’d imagine most of them will be from Texas. There are 165 of these meetings that will be held simultaneously, so the participants in any one of them are likely to come from an area fairly close to the meeting site.
“They arenât Muslim. They donât want to legalize rape. If the TV station did even the most basic reporting theyâd know that. But then they wouldnât get to run a sensationalist story and care everyone.”
I wondered about that. Sounds like a Politically Correct Witch Hunt.
I am sure you meant “scare eveyone”.
Of course, something like this only sounds plausible because of all the insanity the left has pussed for 50 years.
Just more political correctness from the left. Must destroy all conservatives.
For those who want to see what these people are actually about:
They thrive on being politically incorrect.
That is to say, to thrive on freedom of speech.
On post 15, “insanity pussed” was a typo.
Should have been “insanity passed”.
Per the website, meeting is cancelled.
Mob rule in action.
