Well I want our President to be beholden, with dread, to God. That's the crux of the problem I have with the self worshiping Trump.

You are well aware that I was referring to not being beholden to monied interests here in this world, yet you post the same self-righteous attack on Trump's soul that continues to lower the tone on FR.
God wants everyone to come to Salvation, and He never stops working in the lives of His beloved. That includes Donald Trump, whose path has been entirely different that your own, with different challenges. If you can show me documented proof that God has renounced Mr. Trump and wants no more to do with him, I will concede your point. Until then, you dishonor our great God by suggesting that He does not know nor care about any of those who profess to love Him, no matter how awkwardly and insufficiently. I claim that He has not finished His work in Donald.
The Bible contains several accounts of historically real kings who were not Christian, not Jewish, and who in fact were pagans, but who nevertheless helped God's Chosen People, from whom Jesus Christ was raised. We know their names 2,000 years later because they helped establish His Kingdom. Yet they were not followers of our God: Cyrus, Darius, Ahasuerus and Artaxerxes (click each name to read about how they helped reestablish the Temple at Jerusalem, where Jesus of Nazareth would come to preach and teach.)
Watch out for your own salvation. If I were God, I would not appreciate your trying to tell Him His business. He will anoint whom He chooses for every purpose, even if His purpose here is to send forth a messenger and prophet to clarify the issues, which The Donald has done sooner, better and more incisively than any of the other candidates. For that alone, the American people owe him a great debt of gratitude.
