He didn’t dodge the issue about faux marriage (the oxymoron, of “same sex marriage”), he simply pointed out that it is not primarily a Federal issue. The Police Powers, the right to legislate on health, safety & morals, were retained by the States, in the Constitution.

That’s a dodge, according to the way activists portray their position on the issue.

He needs to get in or get out. Which is it? And I’m only saying that because that’s exactly the tack that activists/ Cruz supporters would would take toward any other person they perceived as ‘wishy-washy’ regarding gays.

I am really sick of the double standard & hypocrisy- not just about this, but on most of the things Cruz supporters are going on about.
There’s a REASON the Lord Told us not to judge other people. And that went right in one ear & out the other.

Really? ‘’ . . .The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.’’ SPECIFIES health, safety, & MORALS?
No, it doesn’t.
