Yesterday, Trump ripped into Cruz for supposedly lying about Ben Carson's decision to leave Iowa early, as well as the Cruz campaign mailer telling Iowans whether they had voted in previous elections. He then added, "No, it's honestly really, really dishonest. And I think I know why. You know why? Because he was born in Canada...He gets the nomination, they're going to sue his ass off."

You have to remember that any so-called conservative who criticizes or opposes Trump is exposing themselves as a long-time secret RINO, because Trump is the #1 ultimate conservative of all time. He’s so conservative that he retroactively redefines the definition of conservative at least two generations back. Anyone who does not join the cult of Trump is a filthy disavowed apostate. You are either with Trump or you are against Trump.

The rumor (an honest mistake of which Cruz has actually apologized), maybe cost Ben Carson .25-1% of the actual vote, and wouldn’t have changed the results (marginally) anyway.

It was a cruel scam to fool those voters who aren’t a Twitter aficionado. For proof, the Cruz staff could offer a brief glance at the first CNN tweet, which was ostensibly vague . . without bothering to inform the voter of the second CNN tweet declaring Carson had NOT terminated his candidacy. To try to blame the victims of Cruz’ fraud on their own innocence . . says a lot about the Cruz supporters. Would you like your parents or grandparents to be so duped by an opposing candidate?

We also need teamwork to keep the website working. If we denigrate like grade school kids rather than an intellectual debate . . we can expect FR will be losing good people. Probably even those who support with their monthly donations. Why are you shooting yourselves in the foot, if you like FR you should argue your points without the personal insults. Sounds like Democrat Underground rather than the formerly dignified Free Republic.
Actually Cruz is looking pretty bad right now since he got caught in a big lie.
There's no way a guy would wear a hairpiece in which the hairline apparently starts at his eyebrows. Most comb-over guys simply part their hair low and comb it straight over. What Trump does is comb it forward, and then he flips it back. It appears that he has grown it quite long so that he has enough hair to simulate a hairline at his eyebrows, and then have enough to flip it back to cover the rest of his head. Because the hair starts at the side of his head, it is already low to start with, hence the low appearance of the "hairline" in front. It takes a lot of spray to hold the coif in place. That's why he wears baseball caps when he is in windy places.
A guy like Trump can afford hairpieces that no one could detect. There's no way that's a hairpiece (IMHO).
