I met Marco Rubio in St. Pete in Nov. '09, before he was MARCO RUBIO. He was just beginning his campaign against Charlie Crist. Stood on a table in a sports bar, crowded with people wanting to find out who he was and he didn't disappoint. He stood on that table and extemporaneously, gave a speech for nearly an hour. Enthralling and exciting!

I then met him again in Lakeland at a Tea Party rally and shook his hand, spoke with him for quite a while and then came my big question to him. (His negatives at the time included that he was for amnesty.) I asked him if he indeed was a backer of amnesty and he flatly, straight-faced, said "absolutely not!"

He gets elected and goes right to the Gang of 8 and goes for amnesty. Lyin' SOB!

Ever since then, I have no respect for him. As someone else on this thread said, he IS very likeable and personable, but he's a lyin' sack of sh*t!

Yes that is the problem with Rubio. Unlike Cruz and Trump who will basically tell the truth, Rubio will basically say whatever he thinks will please his audience.
