Center of photo to bottom is wheel tracks from the rover. I am 100% certain of that. The screw to the left means the rover lost a part! You can see part of the rover elsewhere in the frame in the lower right corner area.

I think the mounds are in the wheel tracks - but I might be wrong. Clumps that fill up in the wheels and then drop out? That is odd the screw/bolt looking thinging in the lower left. Probably not a bolt - just a diatom.

For scale there is the rover wheels that you can just barely see - of course I have no idea how big around they are. 6 inches???
