Not sure what Cruz would say, but I would imagine something not mandated by government, but rather an insurance market that offers affordable health care options. High deductible options now banned by government. Plus Medicaid, Medicare and the variety of free options already available by government before Obamacare reared it’s ugly head. It’s not the Federal government’s job to make people buy insurance. It’s up to the market and the states to do it and let people chose their own or choose not to buy at all.
So you don’t know either. How can an insurance restart underwriting insurance? How does it insure the uninsurable now? Do we expect them to bankrupt themselves?
It is easy for Cruz to beat his chest and call Trump a socialist but he has to answer that question with the free market.
