Well I would cede your point had Cruz brought the issue to this campaign that Trump did. Cruz spent months as Trump “me too” candidate. So since Cruz is campaigning on Trump issues then I can say that it is Cruz that is sucking up votes that should go to Trump. Not vice versa.

Cruz had his positions before Trump flipped to his current position. Even in the first debate Trump hinted that single payer was good. And he used to be for partial birth abortion. I’m pretty sure Ted never supported either of those.

Ted just wasn’t attacking someone that shared his current views (no matter how late in the game Trump came to those thoughts). Plus polls do not equal votes. Yesterday the first votes were cast.

BTW: I’m not in love with Cruz either...TPP/TPA has me pissed off at him. But I sure as hell would rather Trump or Cruz over Rubio. So they both better get their act together and target the GOPe candidate.
