Carson calls for Cruz camp dismissals after cheating allegations

Ben Carson is calling on Ted Cruz to fire anybody on his campaign allegedly involved in spreading the misinformation that the retired neurosurgeon had suspended his campaign before the Iowa caucuses.

"If Ted Cruz doesn't know about this, then he clearly needs to very quickly get rid of some people in his organization," Carson told "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday. "And if he does know about it, isn't this the exact kind of thing that the American people are tired of? Why would we want to continue that kind of, you know, shenanigans?"

“What I “can’t follow” are Trump’s groupies who are mastering the mental gymnastics necessary to outdo the king of word parsing. “

Can’t win? Throw out some personal insults. I’m done talking to you.

Steve King is definitely part of Team Cruz and has spent much of the last two week on the trail with Cruz.

Rep. Steve King says Carson 'out'

"Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope," King tweeted.

Nothing against you, but I don’t believe Carson falsely accused Cruz. From the information I saw, the Cruz camp gave out false information about Carson for votes. That’s not right.

Even though Cruz is not my first choice, I still respected him and would have voted for him if he was the nominee. But it’s surprisingly and sadly becoming one thing after the other with his campaign. The Bible says...”Ye shall know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16)

Agreed. I was watching CNN when they had the “news” Carson was going home, and not going to NH or SC. I assumed he quit and was letting his followers know before the vote.

“He is just another run of the mill politician.”

But all I’ve been hearing from the “arch concervatives” here is that “we are people of principle!” I guess that “of principle” means that anything goes when it comes to getting yourself elected. Be careful what you wish for “arch concervatives,” a President Cruz will also be perfectly comfortable welching on his campaign promises just like every other “run of the mill” politician! And that will include amnesty for all his “brother Hispanics.” He should also lay off the religious stuff, huxtering G-d is dangerous!

Carson is a weenie. Campaign volunteers often say and do anything at the polls to influence voters. At zero hour in the heat of the day almost anything goes. And if a candidate announces he’s going home to retrieve clean clothes when the move is to head to the next state election then he should be pitied for ineptitude. When Putin plays hardball how will Carson handle it? Uncle Ben’s soft shtick has been weighed and the people have spoken.

He has shown in Iowa he will do and say anything to win.

Like coming out against the ethanol mandate, right?

“Carson looks like he is out” plainly means he has not announced he’s out. Given that Carson left the campaign trail to go home, it was a reasonably worded description: he did look like he was out.
