I bought 20+ packages—which I thought was a lot, but we love Salmon LOL.
I had store wrap them in mostly 2-lb or 2-piece freezer paper —went to store eh 3 times on one store opening sale in November and then 2 times on a subsequent Christmas/New Year’s sale...I have since bought a nice FoodSaver freezing/sealing system, which I plan to use on their next sale :) Don’t want freezer burn.
FoodSaver had a great sale over the holidays for their sealing units and bags. Getting a new freezer (Jewel/Osco Food stores has a “get a free Freezer” promotion/sale in late winter/early spring), so I will be swimming in salmon!! :)
