".........Trump Nation is tired of failed transactions leaving only humiliation, disrespect, hardship, and despair. Trump Nation wants a transaction president.
Donald Trump knows transactions. Donald Trump advertises that he's not only a high stakes negotiator. Trump will save the nation in the grandest transaction yet.
It is that simple.
Just like Trump Airlines.
Recall Trump's promises in 1988 -- a lot more than a simple transaction in keeping the aging Eastern Airlines shuttle fleet flying. Trump promised luxury, convenience, style, personal touches, affinity to grandeur, and profitability.
Except for convenience, Trump delivered nothing else for which customers were willing to pay. The Trump Shuttle was a flaming financial wreck. Customers had already defected to upstart Pan Am. In desperation Trump trashed his rival, claiming Pam Am execs were losers, and Pan Am was unsafe. (Sound familiar?)
Soon enough, Donald Trump's transaction to transform the airline business was a bust. His most important transaction was confounding third party creditors in bailing out his personal guarantees.
Donald Trump's prefabricated brand is of the quintessential transactional leader. He's a master, even negotiating brilliant escape hatches when he fails.
Trump Airlines, perhaps Trump's boldest venture far removed from his core expertise, still displayed Trump's leitmotif -- engineering a brash makeover for an overvalued transaction to get into the airline game, unable to command the nuts-and-bolts knowhow needed to gain market share and stop bleeding margins, thus in desperation finally piloting a perilous landing, coaxed to the ground by Citibank controllers leaving the third party creditors, and employees, to find the exit row chutes, fending for themselves.".......

I expected hate on Iowa and here you are.
What would you be posting on FR if Trump had won Iowa?
Oh my, you must have buried your head in the sand or something. Since you love to scour the underbelly of the internet to post anti-Trump articles, I suggest you use some of that time to do your own research.
Classic dodge.
No hate on Iowa, just stating facts. I have many relatives who live in Iowa and my dad was born in Dubuque.
Let's try to be honest here. Are there some Cruz supporters who resort to nastiness? Yes. Are there Trump supports who resort to nastiness? You Betcha.
I've not seen however CW resort to the type of personal insults that the Trump supporters here have heaped on her.
As far as the so called "negative" posts on Trump, what about the fawning nearly messiah like adulation posts for Trump?
Yesterday there was a vanity post comparing Trump to Secretariat. And it was posted under News/Activism. Today I saw yet another post on Trump's airplane. What about the numerous posts on Ivanka and Malania complete with pictures praising their "beauty"?
I appreciate the balance. Take it for what it's worth.
Cruz finished 1st in Iowa. He won 8 delegates. Trump and Rubio came in 2nd and 3rd, respectively, and each walked away with 7 delegates. Ben Carson got less than half of Rubio's caucus ballots, but hauled in 3 delegates. Total delegates at the convention will be 2472, 1237 needed to nominate.

Losers
Businessman Donald Trump
The business mogul had led most polls, nationally and in Iowa, for months. But he failed his first real test. Defeat here is a big blow to Trump, puncturing any sense that he could roll over the rest of the field on his way to the nomination.
Trump sought to put a brave face on his loss, looking ahead to New Hampshire and promising he would ultimately win the nomination.
But questions will now grow much sharper over whether the Trump phenomenon is for real.
2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin and Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad (R)
Sarah Palin threw her support behind Trump in the final days of his Iowa campaign. His defeat further reduces the luster of a one-time conservative star who has been in decline for some time. Branstad did not formally endorse any candidate but he did deliver vigorous and sustained criticism of Cruz. The Texas senator’s win serves as a rebuke to that effort.”.....
Their system of caucusing is just plain stupid and come 2020 - they won’t be #1 in the namtion any moreIf only Trump came in 1% higher then Cruz. You could have been so proud of your heritage instead of trashing them. Pity that.
I’m not one of his supporters who thought he was going to win Iowa. So, he did well. Iowa always goes for the preacher type in the primaries. However, they always go for the communist candidate party (Democrats) Anyway, the delegates are proportional, so I expected the top 4 to get some. It isn’t winner take all. I don’t consider this a “win,” either - since Cruz got 8 - Trump - 7 and Rubio - 6. They all got something ot of it. Cruz probably won’t play well in NH.
CW, Trump gave a very gracious speech, and said nothing untoward. Wouldn’t it be nice for ‘pubs to take a day off from the negativity and just watch and hope that hillary gets caught in voter fraud?
Ted didn’t have to spread it before he checked with Carson.

WVK: Same thing as I posted to CW. Trump gave a very gracious concession speech. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all take one day off from the negativity and watch and hope that Hillary gets caught in voter fraud?
Not really. It isn’t a winner take all state. And, if you knew my relatives from Iowa - you wouldn’t want to claim them either.
You’ve been on this forum long enough to know what I’m talking about. Not dodging - just not going to do your work for you.
On the other hand, Cruzers keep it up, and they might seize defeat from the jaws of victory.
So now Megyn Kelly is the expert on Ted Cruz? She hates him as much as she hates Trump. Well, maybe not as much - but she’s a big lib.
No I don’t.
Give me you concerns about lies.
How hard is it?
Make me a list.
Vote Trump!
