The way each candidate responds to their rival’s performances tonight will be quite telling. The one that can be congratulatory without gloating, or otherwise acting like a jackass will undoubtedly raise his standing in many eyes. I like both Trump AND Cruz, but my eyes are open enough to see that neither are perfect, and all of the chickensh!t bickering back and for that I have witnessed on this website sickens me. While not one of the original group of members, I have been here for more than a decade, more than any other site that I have frequented by far, and I have NEVER seen some many so-called conservatives act so childishly.

People get behind their guy. They want him to win and they get passionate. Politics: shouldn’t be a game, but there it is.

Yeah, the Cruz/Trump battle has no doubt dinged the two of them—while Mr. Establishment Marco goes relatively untouched. The longer the Cruz/Trump battle goes, the better for the Establishment.

Remember not long ago when NOBODY thought Cruz would get ANY meaningful level of voter support? Kind of mind-blowing if you think about it.

Regarding Fox comments just now, how can there be 150,000 turnout if Fox’ screen says 75% of the results are in and they already have 75,000 votes counted? Something’s not adding up.

So that 75% could be misleading. There might only be half the votes counted so far.

Cruz would be graceful, and Trump would be an asshole and blame the stupidity of Iowans.

Cruz is declared a winner with 99% in:

I’m a Cruz supporter, my wife supports Trump (because she doesn’t think he can win the general election). I’m a little surprised at the animosity between the two camps here on FR: What about the eleventh commandment by Reagan: Thou shall not attack thy fellow Republican? Sure, the establishment Republicans are bums (Jeb & co) but both Cruz and Trump are hated by the media and the establishment: how can anyone criticize that?
