Brokered convention here we come :(

The GOPe Great Hope.

Trump isn’t going anywhere he’ll pick up a lot of delegates. Ditto Cruz. Ditto Rubio.

I rooted for a quick Trump kill shot because this is the alternative, now the reality.

I’m happy for Krautie, wasn’t sure he could have an orgasm. Over Rubio I am sure. I do not miss Fox.

Fox now reporting that the last 13 Iowa polls had Cruz losing to Trump.

This explains it: Cruz sent out emails to caucus workers that Carson dropped out of the race.

Naw. RCP poll averages had Carson at 7.7%. Tonight he got 9%.

"Fox should tone it down about Rubio. "

He's the only candidate that beat expectations by a big number. He was 11-13% in the polls 5 days ago and ends up with 23, roughly doubling. He's the only candidate with positive momentum coming out of Iowa.

Cruz looking better because it's been a tough week for him, yet he bested Trump despite Trump's lead in the polls of 7%. It will evolve quickly to a 3-man race, Huck already out, more dwarfs to follow soon, The big question now is ----where will their support go?

I thought about that right after I hit the post button....

don’t mean to be insensitive....

and if he can’t then he should probably stop engaging in foreplay with dreams of RINOS.

.
For Trump, it is over with.

The lie that he was way out front has been torched.

He is in a tie with Rubio for second place statistically.

Rubio needs to be taken out; he is GOPe all the way.

Oh no offense taken...let me explain.

With all due respect, you can watch Fox (with open Border’s chairman) pump up Rubio, Listen to Limbaugh put down Trump like he did today, or listen to Levin ignore issues with Cruz as he is obviously in tank for Cruz (maybe because of his future son-in-law? or his friendship with Cruz?hmm maybe he wants a place in Cruz administration...) For now, it is a free country, so watch/listen away, it is your right.

It is not that I don’t want to hear it—It is that think their commentary is slanted—ironically, the slanted coverage on other networks such as ABC, NBC etc. is what drove me to Fox and talk radio. Now, Fox and talk radio are proving that they are slanted, so I will find someone who provides a broader spectrum of truth...not parsed pieces. Seriously, how dare Levin go on tirades against other commentators who fail to divulge that they have family members working for politicians when he is guilty of same thing.

And I was not directing comment to you or really anyone on the thread...Both Levin (he has a FR account) and Limbaugh read FR. It is more for their benefit than yours.

I am a Limbaugh subscriber, but will not renew again. I don’t need to listen—there are others that are more objective. I used to listen to Levin on his app daily. Why would I give him ratings when he has proven his unwillingness to be unbiased. Oh and I bought all Levin and his Dad’s books. Now I wonder if his rants against O’Reilly books and TV show were valid.

Many here are saying that CNN and even MSNBC are doing more objective reporting than Faux News. For example, my daughter just flipped to Fox News channel, and Kelly and Kraut are hammering on Trump, pumping Rubio...figures.

Sorry, I don’t have my hands on my ears because they make sense, and I don’t want to hear it. I don’t think they make, sense and I don’t have to listen as it is a free country...for now.

Also remember that was with Romney getting most of the publicity for having ‘won’ Iowa. Santorum’s win was recognized way late. Good vibes for Cruz and Rubio and bad vibes for Trump are going to get full press coverage this cycle so there may be significant effects on NH.

Cruz cheated:

Carson: Other campaigns sabotaged us with dirty tricks

Cruz put out the word to caucuses that Carson had dropped. I wondered why my sister was saying that early in the evening.

All the geniuses had Trump and Clinton winning. Never mind the crappy unfavorables or the fact that Cruz beat Trump by 18 in a head to head. If the turnout was >170,000 Trump was a lock. Back to the drawing board. Big losers tonight? The talking blockheads, the pollsters and Ann Selzer of DMR whon once again missed the winner by a large margin.

"Does New Hampshire have Open Primaries?"

Actually yes, they can switch registration at the polls, though with the Dem race tight, they will tend to stay in their own paddock.

I don’t agree they will destroy each other.....these are tough birds who don’t cower to pressure, they rise to it. All three will do okay...unfortunately the media will fuel much of what we see between the voting in the states.....

I also don’t think Trump would have “run the table” as he said if he had won.....the man ‘says’ alot that simply doesn’t happen, well noted to just throw stuff out there as we know. His followers love it no matter what he says generally...but most people don’t buy it until they see it, and as said often it’s not seen when all is said and done.

Yeah but Dr. Carson was saying people were really going to be surprised at Iowa. He has internal polls and a couple of others had him higher. It was a dirty trick.

Part of the Dem strategy... let the GOP tear each other apart for so long until many independent voters will not even consider voting GOP. Seems like the GOP candidates would, for their own sakes, focus more on Hillary and Bernie.

What you said, so true: “Cruz, Trump, Rubio destroying each other making it easier for the Dems...”

Only reason I'm supporting Rubio is that I think Republicans and conservatives are on the verge of losing the younger generations completely. If that happens, we are toast because of the other demographics. We won't have a chance.

I prefer Cruz on the issues, but think Rubio (whom I prefer to Trump on the issues) simply has much better shot at appealing to younger voters. Though they're basically the same age, Cruz just comes across as less relatable to young people. Rubio is the cool dad, and Cruz isn't.

Then I have to cross my fingers and hope Rubio stays with no longer supporting the Gang of Eight bill. Perhaps a misplaced hope, but given that I don't didn't think Cruz can win, it's the best bet I've got since I disagree with Trump on just too many issues to support him in the primary.
