A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
I’m with you, onto New Hampshire, tomorrow 7pm rally.
Good point. Cruz was meant to do the narrative, “Trump’s over. He peaked. Didn’t win.”
When Trump finishing 2nd in an evangelical state is amazing. He’s a New York guy and still did well.
He’s also up big in NH and SC. They will pump Rubio now and continue to encourage the Trump v. Cruz was to knock down both.
Theon
You need to lighten-up.
It would be like when Palin announced ..finally...she wasn’t running. People took that very very hard because like with Trump they were deeply invested in her...many still are I think.
I’m very glad Cruz won tonight....and I know that though he’d like to win NH as well he hasn’t invested as much there as he was in the south....but we shall see how that goes in the days ahead.
Meanwhile thanking God for this hurdle that Cruz just went over..and the race continues on....
Not really. Undeclared can vote in either primary.
-—”On the bright side, the extremely high turnout means lots of Iowa voters increased their shaming score from an F to a C-—”
Now that was funny!
or it might meant that Carson is going to rest for a couple of days before he goes to New Hampshire they vote on Feb 9...
and then we in Tennessee start early voting the next day..
so the candidates need to come here to..
I haven’t even seen any yard signs yet...
anyhoo at 9AM EST Wednesday Feb 10 I’ll be in line here in Tennessee to vote...
:)
Coming down the homestretch, Rubio was in the lead among the non-Trump/Cruz voters. Then he had a strong debate, and so a lot of the undecideds and even supporters of other establishment candidates broke his way late when they saw he had the best chance.
That seems pretty logical to me, although the only actual evidence I have to support that is the entry polls showing that Rubio did very well among late deciding voters.
Fox should tone it down about Rubio. They are so overboard it’s quite obvious that they’re pushing him.
Be a LITTLE subtle, Fox.
I’m a Trump fan with Cruz my 2. Rubio is a non-starter for me due to Gang of 8.
Congrats to CRUZ tonight!
Good showing by his ground game. Enjoy the moment.
On to New Hampshire!
.
I’ve been telling everyone that the MSM polls are just Push polls for months.
Believe them if you want to be scammed.
Trump knew that Cruz was going to win; why didn’t the MSM want to tell us that?
.
Bernie may win but it will be a 4:30 am in the morning....

Fox now reporting that the last 13 Iowa polls had Cruz losing to Trump.
whoops no that’s a typo its still 7
Well if you want I can debate you on Goldwater as the father of modern conservatism -
Reagan’s a time for choosing comes to mind during his campaign..
I’m fairly happy tonight.. Wish Carson would replace Speedy as the 3rd place, but..
I’m all in for Cruz / Trump in any order - and I’m staying out of the Freeper bashing on either side - so I won’t go there..
But Goldwater was a conservative... :D
I’m actually going to finish this scotch and go to bed - night freeperland.
first of all, Carson needs to QUIT WHINING for heavens sake...gah...
second...Cruz’s people weren’t being deceitful if they even did that, because CNN was TWEETING IT!!
Yes, he has a rally in NH tomorrow 7pm EST.
Rubio is the big winner tonight, thanks to the Iowa-level version of the GOP establishment.
The national establishment had been flirting with Trump for weeks. Now, I expect that flirtation to be over and for them to go all in for the Anchor Baby too.
I’m sure the way they see it is that Trump and Cruz will split the anti-establishment vote, opening the way for Rubio to walk into the nomination.
He will now be their “rising star,” primed to bring “hope and change.”
The Republican Obama.
In three man race nobody is going to have a 28 pt lead going forward but you only need 2-3 pts to win. A 2 pt win is a win.
