A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
“Well I’m not going to disagree with you. I was merely responding to a poster who thought Trump supporters should leave. I was disagreeing with them.”
Some were a disgrace tonlght! The adults seemed to have left the room!
Iowa mean a lot, momentum counts, my friend. How much does it count is anyone’s guess..?
That would be crazy, but if tonight is a barometer........
Me too. He'll regain the momentum and we'll not look back. :)
Huck quits! May or may not endorse Trump, but I’ll be glad to have him gone. Still a yuuge question on whether Gilmore stays in. At the moment he’s scored all of 11 votes, compared to “Other” having received 107 votes. Will the media let him back at the kiddie table?
Big Barf! LOL
I’ve been a Cruz guy, but lately finding him a bit oily. I’d trust him with the football though.
>>If Trump loses, voting seems pointless. Why vote for someone who will govern to benefit their owner, and not the American people? I may vote for people running in local elections, but nationally, it would no longer matter.
Because of the Zipper.

I really wanted to see Trump win Iowa and run the table. Ok ain’t happening. We just win the next few primaries and super Tuesday. :)
Hillary 49.9
Bernie 49.4
Whoa
Dont put that much stock in Iowa. Rubio doesnt have wide spread support. If he were the Gop nominee the country would be bettero ff with Hillary.
POPCORN TIME!!!(Really!!! I had some)
Honestly, Rubio’s strength is concerning. I know that it is just Iowa, but if Cruz builds upon this, then we may very well be looking at a Rubio victory, when all is said and done. I can’t help but shake the feeling that the Republican establishment is very happy, and very relieved, right now.
A president gets the bulk of their agenda passed. Were he to win and have a GOP House (which is highly likely), things will get done. If Cruz were to win the White House, which should be a f-—ing dream for any conservative BTW, it means the country was shifted back to some level of sanity. Still a long-shot, IMO, but should that happen, he would get things done like every president. We’re he to somehow ascend to the White House, the party will have his platform adopted going in to 2017.
I have no idea how folks here think Cruz is some bought and sold globalist but wouldn’t get anything done with a congress, but Trump who’s a polar opposite of the globalist status quo in campaign positions is just going to roll in and get everything done. There’s missing logic there.
I am worried a little, but Iowa hasn't called a president in 16 years so we will see...
If Cruz can get Conservative Principle to trump (if people can stand me using the word) self interest in Iowa, imagine what he can do elsewhere!
Trump will alienate every state he loses by calling them stupid people, much to his detrimant if he wins the nomination. He can’t win. He will destroy himself.
BREAKING: @GovMikeHuckabee announces he will suspend his campaign after poor performance in Iowa caucus.
That wasn’t hard to see coming. He was kissing up to Trump earlier today. Saying that Trump is really pro-life. *barf*
Apparently offered a spot on Senior Citizen Apprentice.
To repeat what I just said, I actually would imagine that, given what we know now, that Trump will likely win the nomination. I said that before and reiterate now.
But the general election is another matter. There are actual lessons to be learned here.
I hope Trump and his folks are smart enough to learn those lessons.
