The irony of the widow’s position is that she could have beaten Trump at his own game.

Instead of taking money, she could have negotiated for points in the Trump casino....and had more money than she ever dreamed of rolling in.

A man that will willingly tell you his opinion based on his own experience and knowledge that acts within the law is more trustworthy to me than an ankle biting dissembler looking for an edge in a contest they aren’t equipped to address forthrightly.

In taking a bigger picture view, one could easily see Trump and his offer as a Godsend for her and her family, as well as benefiting the greater community as a whole.

Unfortunately, it's also easy to see her and her family as getting perhaps too full of themselves and missing out on what could have been a much greater blessing for all involved.

As it is, no one won, though her pride or her ego came away with a smile and some accusations and excuses to toss around.

Oh well...some gift horses just aren't good enough to accept and ride away on, I guess.
