Donald Trump on Sunday repeatedly slammed his chief presidential rival Sen. Ted Cruz as a "total liar" as the Texas senator and his allies have claimed in the final stretch to the Iowa caucuses that Trump favors government-run, universal health care.
Cruz, meanwhile, pressed forward Sunday with the line of attack, proclaiming: "A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for Obamacare."
"Look, Ted Cruz is a total liar. I am so against Obamacare. I've been saying it for two years in my speeches, I'm going to repeal and replace Obamacare," Trump said on ABC's "This Week." "I don't even know where he gets this."
Trump on Sunday strongly pushed back at Cruz and his allies' claims that he supports government-run, universal health care, noting that he says in nearly each campaign speech he gives that "Obamacare is a total disaster" and that he would "repeal and replace" Obama's signature health care law with something "terrific."

Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy that claims to offering an equivalent education as Wharton.
ssdly lots of people will believe trump despite his clear record

Trump said that everybody will be covered and the government will pay for it. Big diff.
This is typical Trump, and it goes to temperament. Does a guy who behaves like this have the temperament to stand up to Hillary, to Putin, to the Ayatollah? Does this guy have the temperament to get his program _- whatever it may be this week — through Congress? Does he have the temperament to lead the Free World?
Think about that when you vote.
Trump favors government-run, universal health care.
Lots of people will believe Trump because they've been listening to his speeches and not pulling stuff out of context in order to claim Trump supporters single payer health care.
Cruz gets it from Trump who continued to speak highly of single payer in Canada and Sweden until Cruz smacked him on it. Donald makes deals.
As recently as the first Republican debate (just several weeks ago), Trump was saying that socialized medicine works well in Canaada and Scotland, and seemingly endorsing it, as he long has.
The guy ought to make beach sandals his official footwear.
He’s made it clear again and again that he wants single-payer full-blown socialized medicine. He just made that clear again today, in fact.
Of course he doesn’t support Obamacare. He thinks he can do socialism way better than Obama.
But it will be AMAZING! /S
You lie, same with Cruz and Levin.
No.
Trump said that there would be competition across state lines for insurance and that there would be a government safety net for those who can’t afford insurance.
This plan may not be awesomeness personified, but it’s a heck of a lot better than the disaster that is Obamacare, and for that matter a lot better than socialized medicine.
I know you don’t like Trump, but at least get the facts straight about what he said before attacking him.
“Chlanna nan con thigibh a so’s gheibh sibh feoil”
(Sons of the hounds, come here and get flesh.)
LOL—love the way they Photoshopped his “package.”
That's pretty much what Comrade Sanders is saying.
