It's not just the stupid part. It was arrogant to think it wouldn't offend people. And now made up numbers? Is that slander?

More than arrogance, I think being completely removed from how ordinary people, think, act and react is the more likely explanation, and in a way, I think such emotional isolation and cluelessness is far worse than simple arrogance, especially for someone who thinks they are capable of leading the free world.
