Chelsea Clinton, who is expecting her second child after giving birth to baby Charlotte in 2014, has a new book to read to her little ones at bedtime.
A children's book about their grandmother Hillary Clinton chronicles her ascent from a young girl in Illinois to a politician in Washington D.C.
Titled Hillary Rodham Clinton: Some Girls Are Born to Lead, the book starts: 'In the 1950s, it was a man's world.
'Only boys could grow up to have powerful jobs. Only boys had no ceilings on their dreams.
'Girls weren't supposed to act smart, tough or ambitious. Even though, deep inside, they may have felt that way.
'But in the town of Park Ridge, Illinois, along came Hillary.'
The opening spread of the book shows Hillary standing out as a young girl with her hands on her hips amidst a sea of different men who are illustrated in muted tones.
Published by Balzer and Bray for readers between the ages of four and eight, the book presents Clinton as the ultimate girl-power role model.
From 'acing tests' and 'upstaging boys in class' Clinton is also shown at her wedding, presenting key speeches and working on the campaign trail.
It doesn't shy away from the details, stating people 'criticized her - in ways they'd never criticize a man' - as she stood by her husband's 1992 presidential campaign.

Spot on!
Wonder how old little Charlotte will be when they read her the chapter titled:
“Grandpa Web Gets Really Really Drunk and Engages in Beastiality”, subtitled “How You Got Here”.
I thought Grimm’s Fairy Tales were scary. This book could give sensible adults nightmares.
I’m reading a book called “Children of Monsters,” by Jay Nordlinger (a “National Review” contributor). It’s about the children and further descendants of dictators such as Joseph Stalin and Enver Hoxha. Almost without exception, they are loyal to their ancestor and to his memory, to the 4th generation at least.
It is reasonable to expect the same of Chelsea Clinton and her descendants: that they will never let up on defending the record and proclaiming the greatness of Bill and Hillary.
This is a near-exact comment I wrote in another thread a couple days ago but it is suitable for this thread.
Earlier this week, I flipped through TV channels and came across a show with four children (three females) at a table and a hostess named Meredith(?). Perhaps some here know of the person but I am an infrequent TV viewer. She then mentioned Hillary Clinton, showed an image, and asked if it was ok for a woman to be president. That was the only conversation. Then came an image of Donald Trump and the oldest-looking child (female) then had a look of disgust while âMeredithâ had this equally constipated look and seemed to echo the sentiments of the crowd. I didnât stick around long enough to see the rest because it seemed that this was an attempt at Brainwashing pre-school 101. The libs must be frightened if they are stooping to children.
Oh GOD YES!!! We'll do that TONIGHT after this silly ass meeting is over.
Thank you for the reading suggestion. Sounds good.
It’s extremely interesting. He’s a very competent writer, so it moves right along, with plenty of unusual and telling anecdotes. I spent over an hour on the treadmill with it yesterday afternoon, and only stopped because my husband was finished weight lifting and wanted to go home.
The kids are used as tools in such a clip but the smug faces from the adults is perfect example of how liberalism is void of anything substantive.
I can also read on the elliptical trainer. Many people can’t: they get dizzy and fall off.
You must have some kind of inner ear going on there.
: )
Too funny.
Lol
It works only if I have the book in my hand, so I can’t read anything too heavy.
That makes sense.
Hitlary’s book is not a novel idea(pardon the pun). Rush Limbaugh has written several highly popular children’s books which highlight American’s TRUE history. Hitlary will go down in history as having been one evil bitch.
I suppose this is a situation where an e-reader would be advantageous. However, I’m always seeing people dropping their phones or other devices while on the treadmill or elliptical.
