Trump brings a can-do attitude.
Cruz brings a you-oughtta-do attitude.
Guess which one gets more followers.

We are dealing with what I call the entrepreneurs 3% rule. 97% of people if given the information and resources, they still can’t get their businesses off the ground. Its fear based.
Entrepreneurship has a very high failure rate but can provide a high return for the risk.
How are politicians rewarded for risk?

The transgenders will join the illegals and riot in the streets. The media will pump it up and blame every single evil and illness as being the fault of Republicans, Conservatives, White people, bigots, racists, sexists and climate change. The GOPe will of course join with the demoncrats and block every single initiative sent from the WH. The economy will tank and terrorists will finally launch their plans formulated under the nose of the so-called Homeland Security apparatus and who do you think will be blamed?
No matter which R gets elected, the result will likely be disaster, mayhem, blood and open war on the streets

They would have to find their reward in intangibles, I believe.
In Trump’s case, this would be the idea that he had fathered a movement of America back to “greatness,” as best he understands it. Call it pride, call it patriotism, call it supercaifragilistic, but it motivates him.
It seems to be getting him to take the risks even now! He’s done things no sane politician would do, and his ratings just keep going up and up and up.

Unless Trump puts out a far better showing as uniter, than the country has seen in many coons’ ages.
It’s possible, don’t pooh-pooh it. It would look like unbelievable turnout numbers and a landslide to surpass Reagan.
Well goodnight folks. Back atcha later, maybe hours maybe days, I got other fish to fry.

Trump might also tell them to go to heaven... now hear me out.
That doesn’t mean die. That means resurrect the whole church charity ideal to embrace many things that people had been expecting out of the government. Turning deductions into tax credits might be one approach there.

Yup, I cheer for a system that discourages it.
Trump might be able to spearhead such a move. To him it was a necessary evil of his enterprise. What businessman wouldn’t want to take the bite off of his bottom line? Unless he is really a doctrinaire liberal (Trump was not, he was pragmatic).

Trump admits he’s a corrupt crony capitalist. You can fling whatever you want but that won’t change the facts.

Trump paid the baksheesh.
What businessman wouldn’t want the baksheesh OFF of his balance sheet?

After all is said and done, if Trump gets the nod, when Trump-ites come to the boards and urge FReepers to support him, will Cruz/etc. supporters forget the descriptions of them being mere shit flinging monkeys and be expected to hug nice and make bybones be bygones?
Some arguments are best made from a position of intellectual strength, force of argument, and not from a third grade mentality.

So you don’t like crony capitalism but you suport the guy who brags about being a corrupt crony capitalist because he is going to end crony capitalism. Unless he needs to do something corrupt to make money. Who doesn’t like money? Right?
Great plan.

I think most people will find reasons not to be that petty.
A healthy America could overshadow a lot of bad blood, if you don’t keep on trying to feed the bad blood like Democrats have been doing.

I support him because, unlike so many of our gummit droids, he knows what the sting is like!
Trump is no masochist. Even for running for president, he is foreseeing a payoff in hope.
Suddenly you have gotten vaguer than your previous accusations and now just talk about “something corrupt to make money.” Get rid of that damned vagueness... bring forth actual examples. I believe I can easily show how Trump would be motivated NOT to favor a system that encourages it.
