Trump might be able to spearhead such a move. To him it was a necessary evil of his enterprise. What businessman wouldn’t want to take the bite off of his bottom line? Unless he is really a doctrinaire liberal (Trump was not, he was pragmatic).
So you don’t like crony capitalism but you suport the guy who brags about being a corrupt crony capitalist because he is going to end crony capitalism. Unless he needs to do something corrupt to make money. Who doesn’t like money? Right?
