I’ll take Trump over the rest of the field, something of a roll of the dice I know. Cruz has been a strong 2nd choice for me and tonight’s controversy I don’t think will change that, nor has dragging Beck along on his campaign. Poor political judgment imho, but I’m sick of politicians in general. It may affect Cruz’s ability to put in a good showing in Iowa and he has far more riding on Iowa than Trump does, though.

Pretty much sums it up, for many, probably a majority. Trump has a tough row to hoe, on trust, but at least he isn't carrying that "politician" baggage.

I simply can't believe that the Founding Fathers would have considered Cruz a natural born citizen. ( Born out of country, lived in that country for more than 4 years, mom voted in foreign country, Dad from Cub and not a naturalized citizen of the U.S. until recently, , and Cruz was citizen of 2 nations until 2014.)

And...The DemonRats **WILL** make this an issue when it **WILL** cause the most damage. Bet on it!

Cruz is a fine man and I hope he continues serving this nation but just not as president.
