one guy’s face turned so angry, i thought i saw the devil. he lunged at me and his friends pulled him off for some reason. then they and I stared at each other for about a minute. then we both walked away.
that was different.
Used to walk through the worst parts of the west side on the way to the ferry after work at 3am frequently, just to see if i could make it through ok.
probably should have sought psychiatric help. too late now.
