Plus, I hope they wouldn’t use such a shallow excuse.

Bingo! Sometimes people can use that data and be all too “smart”. To their detriment.

>> I just doubt that Cruz even saw it before it went out.

Rumor has it that Cruz is still unaware of the mailing.

They haven’t said anything about it yet, though.

“This mailer has been used in the past, without such condemnation by the Iowa Secretary of State.”

Please post evidence to back that statement up. Until then I’m going to consider you a liar.

There is no mailer that goes out without the candidates knowledge.

We did something similar only we went door to door and asked people if they would knock their neighbors doors and give them lists of Repubs. We would never consider this since it is borderline against the laws.

this is an example of sending vinegar at a problem that would be better solved with honey.

Exactly.

This one was sent out in Alaska and is even more similar than the McConnell one. It was sent by a conservative group. The article says both the Koch brothers and progressive groups sent out similar ones:

Maybe it was Cruz’s idea of another ‘joke’.

“Cruz couldn’t possibly be this stupid. Could he?”

Apparently. His campaign manager acknowledged he sent out he flyer:

there’s an FR post with over a 1000 comments discussing this:

I suspect this was not authorized nor supported by the Cruz campaign.

Go to the FR thread linked at #10. Look at the image in the OP. You will see the return address is the Cruz campaign.

Yeah, I’m not supporting or denouncing it...just saying it is a campaign.

If he isn’t LYING or compelling people under force to support him—clearly illegal and unethical—then let the guy work to win.

I dunno. Too much cannibalism going on ‘round here.

People pick a candidate then DEMONIZE any other candidate.

In the end, they do what the Democrats want us to do...cannibalize each other.

these are things DEMOCRATS do.

Interesting, you nail exactly what the problem is with what the Cruz campaign has done (acted like a Democrat!) and then Cruz supporters turn around and complain about Donald Trump on other threads.

Staggering. And Cruz supporters call Trump supporters "stupid."

What if someone put other ‘nobodies business’ information about you on a brochure mailed to your neighbors?

Do you you really believe that this sort of BS is nothing?

You might be far on the other side of some ‘bell curve’ compared to myself, but without such an ill considered Post, others could only speculate on such an issue.

Too bad for you that you opted to reject thoughtfulness on the matter.

C'mon. I doubt Cruz would even have time to approve all of the mailers I've gotten for fundraising for him. He'd need to work 24/7 to read all that stuff. :)
