From memoirs to financial advice to politics, inside the collected writings of Donald J. Trump.
Sitting down with the collected works of Donald J. Trump is unlike any literary experience Iâve ever had or could ever imagine. I spent this past week reading eight of his books â three memoirs, three business-advice titles and his two political books, all published between 1987 and 2011 â hoping to develop a unified theory of the man, or at least find a method in the Trumpness.
Statism is at the root of Trumpâs wealth. The state is his partner. Heâs not going to turn on them anymore than heâd quit working with banks. The state is where he gets his money.
Really? I didn’t know the 10 season hit show “The Apprentice” was state funded?
I didn’t know all those business leases inside of his hotels were state funded.
All those golf courses are municipal owned and maintained?
All of his retail insigna products are sold by the gubmint?
All his books were sold and written by the state?
Your a lying douche-bag!
Seem to be fewer Trump supporters on this thread than I would have expected.
When did he say so?
Yeah, so deep that I don’t think even boots would help.
You call those books. LOL
Eliminate them altogether; require all political donations to be made ANONYMOUSLY. Can't sell influence if you don't know who's buying. But citizens still have the FREEDOM to support whomever they choose.
Yes, they are serious in their ‘no matter what’ support of Trump. The last time I saw support like that was during the Obama campaigns for president. They didn’t care what his past stances, his history and his friends showed. Illogical, blind support.
THAT is an excellent idea!!!
The money is the worst of the problems. People go to DC with a modest net worth and come out stinking rich...while we the people get more debt piled on us. I’d better watch out...I’m going to get too pissed to think.
L + L O L
What the heck are you talking about? He's a businessman. Do we HAVE to have a freaking lawyer or career politician in EVERY single stupid election? Enough already. they have driven us into the ground.
Latino journalist. I stopped reading right there.
Trump has said he has never asked for forgiveness be ause he has never needed it. If that statement is true, he us putting himself on the same level as Jesus Christ who committed no soon, and Jesus was One with the Father, meaning Jesus was and is God.
If Trumphas never committed a sin as he certainly implies, he is claiming to the equal of Jesus. In fact,he is actually implying that he is greater than Jesus because Trump has admitted many instances of adultery. Trump seems to think he must have some special dispensation to have sex outside of marriage. In that respect, he is like Joseph Smith of the Mormon religion.
Autocorrect on a phone sucks, but my point is obvious.
lol, I don’t cut and paste that.
You are nuts.
We need someone who knows and love the US Constitution.
To Obama, it was just a document of negative rights for the government and something to be trampled on. We have to turn that back.
This might be it...
“Trump, who has supported affirmative action in the past but declined to say whether he was in favor of it today, said he has great friendships with black people.
“I have great African-American friendships,” he said. “I have just amazing relationships. And so many positive things have happened.”
In oral argument for a case challenging affirmative action at public universities earlier this week, Scalia posited that minority students who were not qualified for admission at elite universities would perform better at “less-advanced schools.””

“There are those who contend that it does not benefit African-Americans to get them into the University of Texas where they do not do well, as opposed to having them go to a less-advanced school, a less — a slower-track school where they do well,” Scalia said. “One of the briefs pointed out that most of the black scientists in this country don’t come from schools like the University of Texas.”

I want to get “The America We Deserve” from his 2k run. It has been 15 years though and hopefully he has learned a lot in that time.
Yep. Hip-waders.
Good point. People with funny sounding names have nothing to offer.
