“Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler confirmed to IJ Review that the mailer was theirs in a phone call Friday evening”
Here: lending my extra vest and extra case of bug spray to help you get thru the mess of cruz bots.....
This is some nasty guy tactics.
Canadians just do things different, thats all.
Oh my. This is tacky. Sounds like a desperation move. Has big brother all over it.
So all those FReepers who claimed this was Trump dirty tricks will recant now?
There were reports that Ted had a psyops unit that would employ psychology to address voters. This must be some of their brilliant efforts. Maybe Beck was another.
My latest e-mail from Ted Cruz. Iâm one of the âtrusted fewâ â nuff said :eyeroll:
Ted Cruz Personal Email â May Include Privileged Communication
. . . youâre my last resort.
This is the hardest thing Iâve ever done. Iâm emailing you again because youâre one of a trusted few.
Iâve got less than 36 hours to raise $126,000 or risk letting you and all of the dedicated volunteers in Iowa down.
The latest polling shows that Donaldâs attacks against me are swaying voters, and unless we can hit this goal and give our volunteers the resources they need â we may not turn out enough voters for the Iowa Caucus.
I donât know about you, but Iâm not ready to quit.
DONâT GIVE UP: I can donate $5 >>
DONâT GIVE UP: I can donate $35 >>
DONâT GIVE UP: I can donate $50 >>
DONâT GIVE UP: I can donate $100 >>
If I canât count on you, one of my closest supporters, then I could be in serious troubleâ¦
Please donât let that happen!
I wonât give up on you, and I will not give up on our country.
Will you back me?
For liberty,
Ted Cruz
This was in my email today....I have repeatedly asked for them to stop, I don’t believe the bottom of the barrel these people will go to....
Being in neighbors business is considered normal in Canada...

“A follow-up notice may be issued after Monday’s caucuses”. Creepy !!!!!!
urging people to vote is a bad thing?
please.
I cannot support any candidate that feels the need to shame people into voting for him. If I put myself in the shoes of the ones who received this mailer, this would offend me and drive me to the polls for someone else, regardless of the historicity of such a mailer. I was a Strong Cruz supporter, but I am never a syncophant or blind follower. Take me and my wife from the “Cruz” category and place us into the “undecided” category please.
With utmost sincerity,
Refreshed
It is said that Cubans who do not vote are sacked from their jobs or denied the rationed goods available to all Cuban households at subsidised prices. These are simply lies. It is true, however, that Cubans may be encouraged by their family, friends, neighbours and workmates to vote. Voting is considered a civic duty by the supporters of the Revolution.
Notice it is perfect fly ok to shame people in public with false allegations. I’m thinking trump here.
It is not ok to send private letters to people saying you are not voting and you should.
The trump bots feign outrage while their dear leader puts forth unrelenting venom against true conservatives.
Not fooled.
Play on but I’m not played by this.
FYI there is already a thread with 800+ posts about this.
To say this has backfired is an understatement.
And to the previous poster who said urging people to vote isn’t a bad thing. This is shaming, not urging.
Is it an invasion of privacy to use information about a person that's in public record for advertising purposes, without their approval? If it isn't, it should be.
This isn’t ‘Shaming’, its threatening, people, especially the elderly would be scared of a ‘Violation’.
Teddy, I thought you were smarter than this. Heidi didn’t see the fault in this either, or is this her idea to begin with? Don’t you know when the average American adult gets a card like this, the impulse is to rebel and bring all donating to a screeching halt? Sure, some weak souls will act under such pompous pressure, but most won’t. Not even most churches are this obvious and presumptuous. Maybe this worked in Cuba back when your dad was growing up. Perhaps that is where you first heard of this technique.
