Especially since it was the Marxists that attempted and continue to attempt to steal the banner of science (i.e. real science, from the religious who believe in and look to God) and apply it to their pseudoscientific quackery.

It doesn't look like he's denouncing science. He's attacking the politicization of science, which is a very different thing.
