Grania, seriously, Sowell is saying what we have been saying. How many friends do you have that live to destroy others lives like he does, who lies like he does, that if analyzed probably 90% of what he says is I am the greatest and so and so sucks? Is this the first candidate in your life you are supporting that his record and changing his believes every other day does not matter to you? Rubio lost us with one flip flop and Donnie is allowed hundreds?
There is no logic to it. So much blind faith in one so undeserving.
Constitutional Conservatives have been backstabbed so often that I wonder if we'll ever fully trust anyone, except perhaps Jeff Sessions and Dave Brat, again.
What I see in Donald Trump who is expressing the same sort of things we do. I look at him as a creative problem solvers, analytical, and as someone who keeps his word.
I don't think we're being had.
We're learning to look for who wants what's best to restore the US. Trump does.
FWIW, Rubio seems to possess that more than the rest of the establishment faves. Huckabee, Santorum, even Rand Paul seem to have that in them. Maybe even Christie. But the rest of them seem to belong to others and their priorities.

Ok - I’ll bite. The POTUS job is an executive position. Sowell apparently forgets what Trump has accomplished. Who running has a better executive record than Trump? Who can we trust to run and improve a large organization right off the bat? Who can we trust to reverse the trend of government benefiting those at the edges of the spectrum ? Who can tell both the poor to take advantage of America’s opportunity and the Chamber of Commerce to quit asking for favors and go compete? Who can say build a damn wall and stop pretending it’s all ok? Who could demand budget cuts (and get them) across the board?
Tell me who that is? Give me someone and I’ll jump.
