Donald Trump's campaign manager predicted that Thursday night's GOP presidential debate on Fox News would only get "about 2 million" viewers because Trump refused to show up. In fact, "Fox News likely had 11 million to 13 million viewers for the debate," CNN's Brian Stelter reports...
Trump said he wouldn't debate on Thursday because Fox News and moderator Megyn Kelly had not been nice to him. Trump instead held a rally and fundraiser for veterans. The leader of one veterans group called the fundraiser a political "stunt." In recent years Trump's charitable foundation has given more money to the Clinton Foundation than it has given to veterans groups.

They are lying liars that lie.
Their britches be on far.
Everyone at Weekly Standard is anti-Trump. They’ve made it an echo chamber of themselves and their buddies talking.
Correct some other lies from this GOPE media mouthpiece.

A lot has been made about the fact that money donated was first directed into Trumpâs foundation.
Simply put, in order for donations to be exempt from federal taxes, they must go into a 501(C) account.
There was not enough time for the Trump organization to set up a 501(C) specifically for this charity event. So, the money for veterans groups will be distributed through Trumpâs 501(C) foundation.

1 Vets group, IAVA, rushed out to refuse to take part in Trumps event. Odd since they were never asked to be part of it.
The leader of Iava biggest priority was repeal of Dont ask Donât tell and full acceptance of homosexuality in the military. On Fox News yesterday he was forced to admit he think Hillary Clinton is the best candidate on Vets issues.
Think that pretty much explains the agenda of IAVA. IAVA raised $6 million last year and spent only $80,000 on helping Vets. Its nothing but a PR front for a Leftist political action group.
Exactly.
The article is comparing the ratings to Fox Business News Network, not Fox News. Apples and oranges. Most people wouldn’t know where to find the Fox Business channel.
A better comparison is the ratings to the first Fox News debate which drew 24 million viewers.
Cruz bots and their daily dose of infantile snarks
This was the best debate so far. It was like when, as a kid, the class clown was not in class. You would focus on the lessons without wondering when the class clown would interrupt by making faces, throwing out comments, and making fun of the teacher and other students.
Instead we had seven buffoons performing to please FOX noose and give Jebito the win.
Great job guys.
That is what is called spin.
Thursday Night’s debate got almost half of the Neilsen ratings as the first Fox debate.
People I love ya but the debate was a nothingburger.
Trump is the no-class clown.
but still lower than all the other debates
This debate was an outlier because of the absence of Trump. It did throw FNC into shock because their ambush was messed up.
on a footnote: where were any debate American Flags? all the pictures seem to have none.
Cruz folks like the new common core standards for math?
Fox News cut their advertising rates by 25% after Trump dropped out.
Poor little BD, his candidate sucks so bad he is reduced to posting infantile snarks about other candidates because he has nothing worthwhile he can post about his candidate
Their wish came true, RUBIO! is the new favorite.
Mission Accomplished.
So even more people saw Ted Flop.
Trump haters aren’t proud of their candidates as they always keep them a mystery.
Except for some Cruz peeps.
Once again the Weakly Standard is caught peddling lies.
