He absolutely cannot allow Trump to run his network, period. Ailes was right to support his employees. A newspaper, tv network, magazine, radio station or any media company cannot allow that to happen.

In addition, any company for that matter.

The customers wanted to see the Republican candidates.

It would have been very easy for Ailes to replace Kelly and satisfy the customers.

He didn’t.

The customers aren’t important to him.

Ailes was caught in a position where he couldn’t back down from his malicious intent. There are no innocents in this situation, except perhaps the voters.
