They've been negotiating the deal for months now. Obama will get a $1 billion signing bonus when he joins the court, ten teenage boy law clerks, and his own jumbo jet. The only remaining sticking point is his demand to relocate the court to Mecca.
I've thought about that. But I've also wondered whether Obama would really want such a dry job. Sure he could delegate most of the work to grunts. He may want something more radical.
