I the name of diversity and inclusion, Mattel has announced big changes to its Barbie product line again this year that will now include three new body types for the iconic doll: curvy, tall, and petite.
"The company hopes that the new dolls, with their diverse body types, along with the new skin tones and hair textures introduced last year, will more closely reflect their young ownersâ world,"

I don’t think that the different Barbie’s wear the same size outfits. Dear consumer will have to spend more money on doll clothes if their child/children own diverse body type Barbies.
BTW, back in the day, since there were more Barbies to Kens at our house, cat fights would occur over Ken. Will fat Barbie win by squashing Petite or Original Barbie in future fights?
Will Ken tell Fat Barbie he likes Original Barbie better because Fat Barbie takes up too much room in the Sports Car?
Is that you, Megyn?
“Curvy Barbie” isn’t quite “PC to the max” — they must be waiting for the Christmas, oops, I mean “holiday” market to introduce Trangender Barbie, “the doll with something extra.”
“””The black one is the shortest””””
They tryna say the black one is short because she need to be closer to the cotton plant. See, I told you they were rasis.
Somebody call Jesse n’em.
And for the record, a great many of us “real men” love women with meat on their bones!
“Iâll take the curvy one, yeah! Donât like my women looking like they just got out of heroin rehab. I like tall, skinny women, though. I just know that I have neither the looks or cash to reel one in. Confessional over.”
Just give that “tall Barbie” a flannel shirt and it would become quite clear that neither your good looks or mountains of cash would be of any interest to her. I think she’s a ‘Cis-experimenting’ Barbie.
“And for the record, a great many of us âreal menâ love women with meat on their bones!”

An old friend of mine once said that women like that are “built for comfort”.
.
Yep, if you’re gonna portray a big girl give her some cleavage.

YUCK, a “F”ING PORKER!
BS.
Whom do you think came up with this whole thing?
Meanwhile men on FR constantly carping about a woman’s looks and if she is “guilty”, and drooling over slutty scant-clad females. Yeah, women are to blame!
Lena Dunham Barbie??
Oh, great- now i’m being rejected by dolls!

They’re trying to go against stereotype, that blacks are tall.
Let the market decide. If this helps them sell more Barbies then more power to them. If it flops and stores end up sending back tons of Petite and curvy Barbies then we’ll see them going back to the Original Barbie pretty quickly. I can’t blame a company for taking a risk and trying new things to grow the bottom line.
Nope, Caitlin is there... second from the left.
