Oregon protest leader Ammon Bundy and seven others were arrested Tuesday night. Protester LaVoy Finicum was killed in the confrontation with police and the FBI.

On Wednesday Cliven Bundy, father of Ammon Bundy, told reporters his son told him the FBI murdered militia spokesman LaVoy Finicum with his hands up.

He has his hands up. Someone is behind him and then he appears to go to his jacket and is instantly shot.
That’s the ‘he was going for his fun’ move. If that weren’t there, we wouldn’t be seeing this video that fast.
But was the first shot fired BEFORE he went for the gun? Wish we had audio.
Pretty obvious he drew something long and thin, consistent with a long barreled handgun.
Also, he is not left handed. In other vids, he wears gun/holster on the right.

Appears he was shot at least once from the LEO near the highway, then Finicum appears flinch, hold his hand where he had just been shot, and is again shot from the LEO on the left, from the woods.
I thought it looked as though he was opening his coat to show them he was unarmed. If he’s left-handed, why would he pull out a gun with his right hand and then not shoot right away?
Viewed it 4 times, his hand were up, then he was shot at least once from the LEO near the highway, then shot again from the LEO coming in behind him. That what it appears to me.
He dropped one of his hands after he was shot, he was then shot again from LEO to his rear. His had were clearly up until he was shot. Looking closely you can see him flinch, then grab the wound, then turned and was those again from his left rear.
On the link commenters are claiming that he was left handed and so couldn’t have been going for a gun.
But look here, this video clearly shows he had a shoulder holster on left side (right where he was supposedly going for a gun on the video when he was shot), as well as as a hip holster on his right side:

Both as appropriate for a right-handed shooter.

From the video, it appears LaVoy Finicum was trying to balance himself in knee deep snow.
As a CCW holder can I now shoot someone reaching for his pocket?
Is this a new lower threshold precident?
