I told a Trump thread earlier that when this campaign is over they will marvel at how Cruz, who ran such a professional and near perfect race, seemingly peaking at the right time, completely imploded in a three week span.
Agree with your analysis, but I think the corollary to that analysis will be that Trump was that good as a politician that he assisted Ted in the unraveling. Trump is a natural at this, but that said, I don’t think the professional pundit class realized what great training being a developer in NYC was for being a politician.
