Agree with your analysis, but I think the corollary to that analysis will be that Trump was that good as a politician that he assisted Ted in the unraveling. Trump is a natural at this, but that said, I don’t think the professional pundit class realized what great training being a developer in NYC was for being a politician.
No question Trump had just the right “digs” to elicit the response he wanted from Ted.
