The article says this about McConnell's account: "His account couldn't be immediately confirmed, but several details matched accounts from law enforcement sources."

This guy was taken, questioned, and released. No charges? He was supposed to be driving the car Ammon Bundy and Brian Cavalier were in. Bundy and Cavalier got arrested. Why not him? Did he cut a deal with the cops to avoid charges by providing their side of the story? Wouldn't be the first time.
